Authentic very well prepared Spanish food for an excellent price

Valencian friends took us here. Just two streets away from a busy tourist area with mediocre food. Here you taste realy Spanish food. The seafood is fantastic! The wine choice good and remarkably cheap (a good bottle of white was the price of 1 glass of wine in Sweden last week). Go here and... read more

I have been there twice so far and I recommend this restaurant. Tonight I had papillotte with fresh vegetables and chocolate cake. I enjoyed my fish very much!

Stumbled into this little place just outside the normal walking route, and were blown away. Had the starter-taster, the fish in papilotte and the one in 'nugat' sauce. All dishes have a first bit 'whats this then?"effect, and grow on you massively from there. Having the starters, great fish dishes for two, a good bottle of wine and a surprisingly... More

We were in Valencia celebrating the exciting fiesta of Las Fallas. We stumbled across this restaurant by accident, but what a find. The food was excellent, staff really obliging. It is definitely worth a visit. We shall return. It is a little bit more pricey but superbly presented and the local wine goes down a treat.

Probably the best fish restaurant in Valencia the only thing that is better than the fish is the welcome and the staff. All the fish is local and wild and cooked to perfection. The wine is local delicious and very reasonable and the staff prepared a desert selection plate for us which was not even on the menu. Will definitely... More

A fantastic restaurant specialising in sumptuous fish dishes with good quality, good value wine. The owner gave an enthusiastic explanation of the menu and house specialities which was simultaneously translated into English - not just informative but entertaining too! The only challenge was finding the restaurant during a fiesta making many of the side streets inaccessible to cabs. Still it... More

A wonderful restaurant.Went here for lunch,expecting something a little more rough-and-ready,from the description in our guidebook.The food is the thing,of course,but the whole experience was faultless:great service,smart decor,well set-out wine list.We shared the tapas taster starter:great ingredients,presented with a twist(cliched,but true).We both went for the fish special:four types of fish,cooked with vegetables,en papilotte(a paper parcel):simple,but incredibly flavoursome.Our spot-on white was...
