Fantastic local cuisine off the main drag away from tourist spots.where the Spanish eat out. I recommend the braised squid for starter followed by salt fish ( bacalao ) then creme brûlée mousse over vanilla ice cream . My partner had cured Spanish ham with garlic mayo followed by turbot The wine was a red called Pasion from Valencia The... More

Small and cozy place, with rests of the arabic walls and pleanty of pictures. The essencials: the food is really good. The menu degustación is really good, at midday and in the evenings. The staff helpful. I do recomend this place

Situated on a quiet street not too far from Plaza de la Virgen, this quaint restaurant was warm, welcoming and provided excellent service, especially when recommending a wine to suit our taste. The meal and wine were fantastic, the perfectly cooked beef cheeks were a particular highlight. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Valencia.

We were recommended this restaurant by our hotel Las Arenas as wanted a less touristy experience. We got a taxi for €9 to the square close by and had a few drinks before it opened at 20:30hrs. We hadn't booked but were treated very warmly and could choose our seats. The staff were attentive and made recommendations. We opted for... More

We happened to walk past this place one afternoon and my daughter recogised the name from looking at trip advisor. Decided the menu looked good so made a point of remembering where it was and found our way back in the evening. Got there about 9pm so, as usual we were only the second people there that night! The one... More

We were looking for a place to eat late in the evening in the old town and found this place. Weren't sure that we were going to get any decent food, but we were wrong. Lovely food and good service. Would definetly go back if I was to return to Valencia. Don't forget, it is a very tiny restaurant.

On a recommendation from Hotel Caro, we tried the tasting menu here one night. The food was beautifully presented and the flavours were amazing. Portions were small as appropriate for a tasting menu and the food just kept on getting better. Cod in batter was exquisite as were the beef cheeks in red wine sauce which followed. When the bill... Every time we come to Valencia we eat there at least once. We choose degustation menu and never regretted. Always good food, good wine, very good atmosphere, very friendly stuff who remembers us and prices are reasonable in the middle of 'tourist' area.
