Excellent cooking

This was our favourite place over 5 weeks in Spain. We both had fish and my cod was as good as I have had anywhere, if not better. We have to give it 5 for the cooking. The ambiance is slightly sterile but the service is very good. My Campari Orange was out of this world. Not cheap but worth... read more

This restaurant was recommended to us by our Hotel receptionist also. Given I have read this opening line on so many other reviews I'm inclined to think the 5* hotel we stayed at has a penchant for this restaurant. I imagine the line "can you recommend a place that does great paella" is a popular question in hotels in Valencia!... More

This place was recommended to us by our hotel's receptionist as one of the best in town for paella. We were lucky to get a table on a Sunday afternoon without reservation. Otherwise everything was occupied (mostly by locals and interestingly, by families with kids - seems to be a very children friendly place) or reserved and many people were... More

All i pebre, salads and arroz a banda and a paella valenciana. Perfect taste and quality. Good service. Always crispy bread. Extensive wine list with very good choices. Disadvantage: the table had initially been reserved for 4 people, and then for 6. The table was then "upgraded" to adapt six, which was uncomfortable.

This was recommended by the hotel and happily I was not disappointed. Great home baked bread and potato chips which came with my beer…both were all consumed. After a day of travelling a hearty pepper steak with a few glasses of red was in order…a good table on the street to watch the locals get on with their daily routine.... More

I had lunch with family, we enjoyed one of their "paella" as well as top quality ham, including regular local dishes like garlic/oil shrimps, service was very attentive and efficient, a bit pricy but food was worth the price, all in all a great Restaurant worth to go.

Raco del Turia is an excellent restaurant in Valencia. Maybe the best place for tasting the paella valenciana. The design of the restaurant is very nice and the staff is efficient. The food was of excellent quality. The menu offers a broad choice of dishes as the wine menu which invites you to discover the spanish wines. The prices are... More
