The paella was to die for! We went for lunch and you must take the time to enjoy lunch. The paella is freshly made to order so it took about 35 mins. We orders the Valencian paella - chicken, rabbit, and snails. There was a male worker maybe the manager he was so pleasant and helpful. Definitely must go in... More

This is a smart restaurant but very relaxed and great for families. - Paella was outstanding and the best we experienced in Valencia. If you want to experience a great Paella in a good restaurant give serious thought to this one. You really do need to book in advance.

Our hotel recommended this restaurant, which was only a one kilometre walk from the centre of Valencia. The staff were superb - very attentive and very professional. We shared starters of Foie Gras on Potato stuffed with Mushrooms, and Shrimp with Garlic and Paprika. Both were excellent, and washed down with a glass of the house Cava. We shared the... More

We stumbled upon this restaurant during our trip to Valencia after finding out that many of the other top rated ones were closed in August for summer holidays. This one is also open on Sundays. We were really looking forward to tasting a special paella and found what we were looking for at Raco del Turia. We asked for a... More

The food at this restaurant was really good. We had a paella and it was excellent, as was the starter (calamares). The wine selection was ample too.... The down side was the service. Yes, they were busy but it took at least 15 minutes to attend us once we had been seated, and that was the theme for most of... More

As a a business woman who frequently travels alone it is important to note places where it doesn't feel uncomfortable. The hotel suggested this as a place locals of to have great paella. Turns out after 8:30pm they don't serve paella for one. They still accommodated me at 9:30pm (early for dinner by local standards). Service after that was ok,... More

We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the fideua at this centrally-located restaurant. We sat outside at the street, in the shade, and enjoyed a nice salad and some tasty croquettes before our fideua. Our 5-year-old son enjoyed his burger and fries, which were well prepared. This is a very good option for rice in the center of Valencia.... More

We wanted to try a more traditional Valencian restaurant and cuisine so tried Raco del Turia. It was a quiet intimate place which has been run by the same family for many years. For starters we enjoyed smoked sardines, with dried tomatoes and caper cream on a hazelnut biscuit crust, followed by roast suckling pig with glazed shallots, meat jus... More

We had a very good seafood paella at Raco del Turia with a lovely red wine from the Valencia region. We ate outside on a lovely warm evening and the service was attentive so it was a pleasant experience.
