The true 'Tapas' concept

Placed in the old part of town, Sagardi is a very interesting restaurant with a huge variety of Spanish tapas. The service is friendly and the food was great.

We needed something small to eat in the afternoon, we found this restaurant. They serve pintxos, snacks on a cocktail stick. All we tried were very good, the only thing is they are not cheap, but it was worth it.

One picks up tapas one wants to eat. The quality of tapas is excellent, and the price of tapas is very reasonable. The waiters are very friendly and willing to help.

Had a late lunch at this restaurant in the casual downstairs area. More formal restaurant upstairs. Good open viewing to the street and excellent set serve of a wide hot and cold Pincho selection. Some great bites. Had Cava and Sangria to wash it down. Excellent for lunch, early tapas.

I ate at the "barra de pintxos" at the ground floor (there must be also a more conventional dining room upstairs). You can choos what you like among a selection of "pintxos", i.e. small and often artistic creations of food. At the end, you pay what you get: 1.95 euros per every piece you eat. Not expensive and really gratifying.

We were lured into Sagradi in Valencia since it also owns Irati in Barcelona, which is one of our most favorite Tapas (Pinchos) bar in Barcelona. Unfortunately it cannot cope with Irati from an atmosphere point of view and the taste of their Pinchos. It is also pretty expensive for what is offered. We also hated having their air-condition running... More

We had taken some friends from the UK to Valencia for a few days as they had never been before and we wanted a special meal for our last night. I have had a drink in the popular bar area before but have never had a meal in the restaurant. What a good choice ! Friendly staff showed us upstairs... More

After a great experience in Sagardi Barcelona, I had high expectations but Sagardi Valencia exceeded them. Great location and great food. Nice staff and good prices for the value.
