Our first night in Torrevieja we ate here. Got a table, decided to seat the grown-ups closest to the road as one false move would send us tumbling into the street (at least they managed to seat 8 people). We were in the paella mood, so most of the grown-ups ordered the €10.50 menu with a starter, and paella variant... More

We have previously eaten at Brisas del Mar on several occasions as we like the traditional Spanish mainly seafood orientated menu. Both my wife and myself ate from the menu del noche which cost 10.50 Euro. My wife started with the Calamari and I the Mussels, for mains my wife had the pork steak (solomillo) and I the seafood paella.... More

Just returned home from eating at this restaurant. Possibly due to a private function in the main dining area, our service was appalling. Waiter put menus on the table and walked off, no offer of a drink. Eventually, waitress (who had been busy) took our order, and we nibbled on olives whilst waiting for our starters to arrive. I had... More

This is located at the harbour, and we sat outside in mid November. It was sunny and warm. We had the set day and night menu, which was 11 Euros each. A big bargain, but be wary of going "off piste", as we ordered an additional salad, which was 8.50 on its own! For 11 Euros each, we got Mussels,... More

Give it a go! Menu Del Dia at €9 has a wide choice of starters, mains & deserts. I had the spaghetti Bolognese with Parmesan which was great!!!

We wanted to go to this restaurant for quite a while as it looked good in a lovely location. It was quite busy and we managed to get a table outside. No sooner had we got the menus and we were approached twice for our order!! We got 2 beer and then I decided that as it wasn't cold enough... More

Well I have been extremely dissapointed with my food experiences in Torrevieja so far and this has to be the worst yet! We walked past this place every day and it seemed busy and smelt pleasant so thought we would drop in for desert and coffee one time on way home. Ordered the cheesecake and chocolate cake. Both were completely... More

I had seafood Paella and a beer. The paella consisted a plateful of brown greasy rice with some indeterminate lumps in it, one overcooked prawn and 2 piddley mussles. The glass of beer was only just over half full. The vegetables on my 2 companions plates were pathetic, appeared to be out of a jar, overcooked and tasteless. The cheesecake... More

Margarine instead of butter, horrible food (the menu of the day) and warm white wine. The service was sullen and I just hated it. I'd rather have spent my money on a single course in a decent place. Give it a swerve.

Went to this alleged upmarket resaurant with family to celebrate a significant birthday. I was most dissappointed. It started off badly when the customary roll arrived as soon as we sat down with just a sachet of margarine to accompany it. I asked for some butter and was told that they don't have or supply it; should have realised and... More
