I know Petit Cafe de Paris Restaurant in the old town of Calpe for some time now. I've read some less positive reviews and I have to say; the Chef is tip-top shape! (again...) We ate there two times in one week and both times were fantastic. Started with a cava, with some appetizers, the consommé followed by the foie... More

Being a lover of french food I was very happy to find this restaurant tucked away in the old town of Calpe, one evening when we decided to go out for dinner. Choosing the set menu we were more than happy with the food and also was very pleased to be able to have french wine with my meal. The... More

This is a tiny gem of a restaurant hidden away in Calpe's old town run by the Swiss owner/chef. The set menu at 25 euros is wonderful from start to finish. I went there last year with friends and loved it so was a little fearful it wouldn't live up to my memory this year but it did. Three of... More

Back in Calpe again a year later for the week and had to come here twice! The usual excellent quality ingredients, beautifully cooked, charmingly served and good value for money. What's not to like? Thanks Eugene.

We found this little gem by accident, although we were in the Old Town looking for somewhere to dine. The owner is also the Maitre d' and the chef! The menu is small but there are little extras to keep you going - in our case the most delicious serrano ham and cheese. The seating capacity can't be more than... More

A the name states the restaurant is tiny only seating about 12. We had one of the menus, the foie gras wasn't , it was just some sort of very soft liver, and the chateaubriand was just a piece of steak cooked the way the chef wanted it done ! Having said that the food was quite tasty but not... More

As one would expect, french cuisine should be tastey in proportionate sized dishes packing lots of flavour. More to the point, the meal matched the theory, however, being in a small location it can seem crowded.

the fois gras was not a slice as it should have been but a sort of chicken liver, the entree minute slices of cheese and smoked ham was waferthin. again the dessert a small crepe with one small dollop of vanilla ice cream. No one else in the Restaurant on a Sat. Until later another couple arrived.

We had another memorable meal at this wonderful boutique restaurant in the Old Town area of Calpe. We were a party of six and we all had the Menu of the Day. There were several tasty appetisers served by the chef and the starter was a unique and delicious pâté. The main was exquisite Chateaubriand served with a delightful vegetable... More

All of the dishes were freshly made - no frozen food will be served here. The set menu is excellent, with foie gras and chateaubriand, all for a very reasonable price!
