Having used this Restaurant many times over the past 6 years, I Even had my 50th birthday here, I was really surprised at the appalling drop in both standard of food and service on our last visit. It took 20 minutes just to place our order and then a further 15 before the wine arrived at the table. So I... More

Unbelievably fantastic food Never had steak like it. We were a table of 10, no complains every one happy. Only regret is that we didn't find this restaurant at the beginning of our holiday instead of the end. Well worth a visit you won't be disappointed.

Came to Michaels one lunchtime to grab a snack and had to come back that evening for dinner, the chilli was brilliant flavoursome and very filling and not a huge amount of €. Will be coming back again in October for our breakfasts when we come back in October.

I happened across this cafe by chance. It is in the old town, up towards the church and balcony. You see boards advertising breakfasts, but there was something different about this place. I gave it a try. I wasn't disappointed. Great food; quality for money and brilliant customer service. When I am back in Benidorm, I will definitely be going... More

Just back, we visited Amanda's on our first night, only six other diners good menu good value, but the food. Oh dear only average, mushrooms on toast, average, nice steak poor chips, apple crumble pie, poor very poor. Will not be going back. What a shame after Michaels. John T.

Convenient and well located in Old Town with a home from home feeling if you enjoy a good British breakfast or a meaty pie

Soup was cold. Waitress nowhere in sight. Had to walk into bar to find her. Soup taken away, came back warmer but still not as hot as I like. Main course, too much sauce covering chicken. Never had as much had to scrape off to see chicken. Again not very warm. Sweet. This I must admit was excellent, but again... More

used to love this café under the original owner Michael. however on a return trip under new ownership the food was ghastly. The gravy was inedible the chips resembled rocks and the food was tepid. my friend has the house special curry and even she couldn't eat it. sad to say no return for michaels
