The owners , Fred and Marie and Maraid the server all work so hard , meeting and greeting everyone, preparing fabulous food for all in a lovely litle bistro in the Old Town. We eat here, two or three times during our holiday and we don't forget to book in advance. We've... More

Went with my wife twice whilst on holiday. Can't wait to go back when we visit in September. We chose the 3 course option and all I can say is the food was "wonderful". Frederick came from the kitchen to interact with his customers and we had a really good time. We would recommend the restaurant to everyone. Go and... More

Having found The Vagabond at the top of TripAdvisor we thought we would make a reservation. We had to wait 3 days for a table which was fine as we are in town for a couple of weeks. This is a small, boutique restaurant with perhaps 8-10 tables. We were welcomed instantly and shown to our table. We were then... More

Having seen reviews on here we popped in hoping to get a table about 8pm- no chance! Fully booked! We had to book 2 nights in advance. Go- it's lovely. We had the set menu x3course €14. They bought nibbles while we chose from the menu & a sample of the nights soup (spicy pumpkin). Delicious. Wine was great.. Atmosphere... More

Rang up before we left the UK and booked a table. When we got there all was ready for us. a great chat with the owner after our supurb meal. Can not fault the meal or the price, which was 80 euro for a 3 course meal and wine. Try IT!

After reading the excellent reviews on "The Vagabond" we decided to give it a go so I booked a table for 2 via email. The response was quick with the confirmation of some detailed extras I requested as it was a celebration. Fred (the owner) was extraordinarily proud of what he did for us and we were pleased as punch, his... More
