This has defintely been one of the best pintxo places I know. One of the greatest tapas places. So much imagination and ideas flow into these small delicacies there. Unbelievable.

Just go and you will taste what reviews and pics say about it!! The service is incredible. Try the hot egg with truffle, crushed ham and thin fried chips

Like many reviewers mentioned before, the bar has won many awards for the pintxos it created. Go there early. I went at around 6.15pm and had no problem finding a seat, but once the kitchen opens at 6.30, you start to see people, mostly locals, flood into this place. The bar tenders do not speak much English, and they will... More

Amazing place. If you like the “tapas” you must go here. Always crowded, but the service is extremely fast and you maybe not wait to long. Different way to really enjoy of a meal.

The first thing I have to mention is the quality of the service. Every one of the four times we visited this culinary landmark it was completely packed to the gills, and the waiters were attentive, friendly, and efficient. We waited no more than 10 minutes to be attended and served. Now to the food, all of the pintxos we... More

The place is very tiny and it's normally impossible to get a seat, but I guess this is the spirit of Pamplona and its pinchos; eating while standing, trying not to splash your beer to others while bringing it from the bar to the table. But you have to go there, as they make truly best pinxtos! I've come here... More

Like others, we chose a visit to Bar Gaucho based on positive TA reviews, a wise decision. The atmosphere in the place was convivial and lively. Visitors like us, locals, families. The pinxtos were first class, the wine delightful. What more could one ask for on a Pamplona late afternoon.

We decided to go here based on the positive ratings. We were notvdissapointed. Try the Foie Gras (goose liver) or just order any of the pintxos (tapas) that they have. It is very crowded, but somehow they always get it right!

A nice typical bar serving some interesting pinchos. The fact that they published two cookbooks on pinchos and won a couple of local pinchos competitions speaks for itself. No frills setting, with limited and uncomfortable seating. Hardly any English spoken. A few of the tasted pinchos (I have tried almost all of them) were really nice, especially those prepared a-la-minute.... More

food is as good as most of the reviews say, the service copes with the demand at very busy times, in almost efficient way; just eat and drink what you see others doing; that way you might get to know a few interesting things; i certainly did!!!
