Great find!

Lovely tapas or Pintxos, very different. We had the truffled egg, a prawn and spinach pancake, a duck rillete cruistillant, the house lasagne, the fois gras, the bomba (meatball) and chorizo. They almost paid us for the wine it was so cheap! Would love to go again if I visit Pamplona.

An enjoyable lunch stop at this popular bar, with a nice range of tasty pintxos, but the food of every dish was puréed. One of my fellow diners commented that it was the best pintxos for babies due to the consistency of the food. The atmosphere was very buzzy, with a mixture of locals and tourists keeping the place lively.... More

The good selection of tapas are presented at the bar. It was not outstandig but solid. Some tapas were way too creamy, cheesy and therefore shallow in taste while others with truffles or foie gras haven't had a chance to develop their full potential. Prices range from 2 to 3.20EUR per portion and the ambiente is cozy.

The Tapa was amazing. Very interesting selections to meet any taste as wel as being brought out fresh from the kitchen as quickly as the crowded bar customers consumed it. The Wine was excellent at rasonable cost and we stayed people watching for some considerable time. Worth popping in.

We passed thru Pamplona on our way to San Sebastián. We went right to the heart of the city and looked for the best rated restaurants for lunch around the famous estafeta street. Although we had to wait few minutes for a table (first come-first served ...they also have only about 8 tables). The wait was well worth it as... More

We visited Bar Gaucho in the late afternoon and it weas full of locals enjoying tapas with their wines we had a few beers and it was very pleasant and the beer was good. We left to look around the town and returned later in the evening, the same barman was on and he welcomed us back like old friends.... More

I thought I would try a tapas experience and was recommended bar Gaucho. It is located just off the Plaza del Castillo in a little side street - which incidentally was heavily littered. The welcome was warm and the lady serving very helpful but, the tapas dishes I saw looked like they had been around for a while and, for... More

When we asked the server what we should try she said one of everything, and we laugherd, but she was probably right. The standout was the eggs with foie. Do not miss this dish, it is absolutely the best.

I have been here several times and it was always delicious. I can fully recommend it. During the rush hour you might not get a seat, but its worthy to wait. Ask Mitch for Foie Gras, its not on the list... One of the best pintxos on my trip accross Euskadi.

I read some of the other reviews and came here. Our first time in Pamplona. We had a great time. Really great tapas. Not your usual simple affairs. The egg with truffle was amazing. We went back 3 times during our stay.
