Amazing experience

Bar Gaucho is one of the top 3 best "Pinxtos" bars that you can visit in Pamplona. however you will need a lot of patience because it is one of the most busy bars in the city.

Pintxos riquisimos y sofisticados. Bar tipico que vale la pena visitar. Sophisticated and delicious pintxos specially the one made with fois gras.Very good house wine and the owners are really nice. The even have corn galettes for celiacs. The only thing is that you have to pay in cash but is not going to ruin you.

This is by far the best Tapas/Pinchos/Pinxto bar I have visited,. The service is very friendly and fast. The atmoshere electric & buzzing in the mid to late evening. Try the Pincho of Sea Urchins and also the dish with the Quails egg. Spoon into the dish and see the delightful egg yolk mix with the white sauce. Very clever and... More

Best pinxto I've ever had, incredibly busy but lively spot where the choices are endless but still good value! The staff are friendly and helpful and we enjoyed several hours there.. Soaking in the good food, wine and ambience! A must visit! Would go back to Pamplona just for this place! Enjoy!

Pintxos were excellent. I had the foie gras-buttery & full of flavour. They make a very tasty gin & tonic too. Well worth a visit

Pinchos is the name of tapas in the north and in this bar -where one can dine for a reasonable price- they re-invent tastes and taste experiences. Try their egg with truffle, the carrillera (veal cheeks) and the tortilla de patata. They all deserve to be among the best!! But some others are disappointing like the duck... So pick carefully... I just love these pintxos! I always leave the bar with full belly. Its a tiny bar, but in a peak time it gets croudy. One of my favourite ones in Spain!

We tried this because every mention of Pamplona includes pinchos, but I'm not persuaded yet. Years ago when we first tried tapas in Spain they were circles of stale bread with curling ham on top, rather like the much derided railway sandwiches we used to have. This time I tried a Rillette de Pota; I expected duck and got a... More

We went for a tapas dinner. The bartender was very friendly and helpful, especially with my wife, a vegetarian. He brought us vegetarian croquets, a tortilla, grilled mushrooms, and a cheese soufflé. I had octopus and beef lasagna tapas, both of which were very good. We left full without having spent more than 20 euros. The place definitely has the... More

Living is Spain as a vegetarian has its challenges, and for me, they are most apparent when traveling north. The pintxo: A piece of bread with yummy stuff on it. I'll never understand why more of these can't be vegetarian. But Bar Gaucho has tortilla (obviously) and also some mushrooms (champioñes) that are grilled and served with a drizzle of... More
