Good and elegant

Very nice restaurant, not too expensive! The codfish was delicate and well cooked, also local the wine was good!

In such places you are not looking for changes - you want them to be same as you remember. Food, service, atmoshphere - everything was good+++ on last Thursday evening - exactly like it was two years ago on my first visit to Pamplona. The dinner so good that next day lunch found me in the same place.

If my both legs were about to fall off from gout I would still binge eat this lamb and beef stew. Rioja was best red I've had.

We wanted to dine with locals. Although Otano has a proper restaurant on the first level, we chose the bar at street level. It was very busy. Many persons crowding the bar and practically all seats taken. Patience! In 5 minutes a bench setting was vacated. We sat but knowing how busy they were, it was best to get our... More

Good environment. Good food. Good service. Good prices. Do not go there without having the chuleta or chuletón.

Average food and very slow service. Have eaten here several times over the years. New concept this year- food was not as good as before in spite of trying to modernize he dishes. Service has never been great.

Choose this restaurant because the one we wanted to eat at was closed. It is on a busy street in the Old Town with a lot of people on the street drinking from the two bars on either side of the street. It is on the first floor. It is a pleasant surprise when you get up the stairs as... More

This is a review of the Otano Bar on the street level. The bar had a great crowd with a wide selection of tapas to choose from displayed on the bar. Prices were reasonable. We secured one of the last tables in the back. Waiter avoided us. Was it because we spoke English? German? Spanish? Other tables seemed to have... More

The starter I had in Otano was called "menestra de verduras" and it was delicious I recommend to anyone that loves vegetables! So many flavours and beautifully prepared. This was a very romantic meal with my partner (wasn't intended that way) but the atmosphere is very conducive to it ! Very good price for a delicious meal and great service.... More
