Went here for the pre-fixe lunch menu for 13 euros. It included a chorizo amuse bouche and three more courses including dessert. The food was bland and totally average. It did not remind me of basque or Spanish cuisine, except for the dessert. Great value, but I would expect more in the heart of Basque Country.

We visited the restaurant after reading trip advisor reviews and felt like we'd found a real hidden gem. The food was the best we'd had in Spain (great soft steaks) and the waiter was very attentive. It started quiet when we arrived but became buzzing with locals at about 9, a good sign. Go for it!

After tapas, we moved... More

Situated in old city centre, it is a 'typical' small restaurant with a notably local clientel - always a good sign. Excellent food and service.
