Very welcoming place to eat

We went there last week. When we saw the interesting menu, i asked if we could keep it as souvenir. The waiter had something better in mind; he gave us a salt shaker with the name of the restaurant on it! We ordered sea food salad, toast with avocado, tuna and mustard, toast with roquefort cheese... read more

Have been now for the 3rd time in Murcia and stayed at the hotel La Churra, not only the breakfast was great but the food in the restaurant up the street was amazing, traditional Spanish dishes I never had before, really delicious. So different from any other restaurant. The ambiance is very Spanish, lovely bar with all kinds of tapas,... More

I have going to El Churra since I was a kid. the food is great and the staff are great profesionals. The new restaurant has given El Churra a lift from being a mediochre bar/restaurant to being one of the Murcian gastronomic references. If a foreigner wished to try Murcian food this is the place to go!

Food was very good although the waiter did try to upsell what we ordered. Wine waiter was brilliant. Refused to provide any Rioja because he said they had better local wine from Jumilla.. and it was wonderful! One word of warning. They do have their own private parking but we arrived 45 minutes late after going round in circles s... More

Ate here several times April 2013 and it was close to perfect. Repeated only once April 2014 and it was less so. Good still, maybe very good, but not 5 star anymore. Veg didn't seem as fresh, meat wasn't as well cooked. Prices seemed to be the same though. All relative, but this is in comparison to last year. Still... More

I got the daily menu: for twenty euro, I have never eaten better. I will return to Murcia just to eat there. Spanish cooking at its best!

One of the best restaurant in Murcia. For some people it can be a little bit expensive but I highly recommend it if you are looking for a good quality meat and a great service. Although it is not located in the center it is worthy to go to the restaurant. For sure you will not regret it

I stayed in the hotel across the street and this place was recommended by the staff, I was surprised by the amount of people there since it was Monday and it was packed! What I liked the most is the variety of fresh vegetables and the quality of them, all tasted delicious, the salad was fantastic and the have a... More

I was taken to El Churra by a couple of my Spanish colleagues, the restaurant has a reputation for the quality of its' local cuisine. Again, no menu was required, I know we are accustomed to taking the menu and making our selections. There is some theatre to be with the locals and eating as they would eat. Tapping into... More
