On a weekend in Cartagena ,our party of 8 arrived for lunch at about 2pm.the restaurant was busy but a table was found in a corner and we were quickly served drinks...lovely house red wine and jugs of beer.we all ordered from the menu del dia which proved great value at €10 app. really nice salad with lots of tuna... 1,5 hour waiting for main course is unacceptable! Unless you are happy to enjoy the bread which was served after 20 min of making the order. Starters came in a different time for party of 6 and were not impressive either. I would rank this place is more like a gamble. We've definitely lost this time.

Went in here on spec as one of the guys I was with had been before. Excellent service, great food and real value. Everything tasted great. That's my overriding memory. It's the taste of the food in Spain (and Italy for that matter). Tomatoes taste like tomatoes. Everything tastes like it should. A memorable meal.

This is one of the most typical places in Cartagena. Really well located downtown, it is a good restaurant to try food in the old way. They have a wide range of different tapas and main dishes. The product is fresh and carefuly treated. Do not expect anything exciting, but if you want to try Spanish food, that's the place.

I wish we hadn't bothered! I had a Caesar salad and it was vile, it was basically a load of lettuce with slightly pink old chicken and a pool of what tasted like blue cheese sauce, it smelled really bad too. Non of our food came together and we couldn't wait to leave the dark and dingy restaurant with the... More

Great tapas, we visited Cartagena on a cruise. What great food at a really good price, very clean and great service will definitely go back if we ever visit the town again.

Unfortunately the service was terrible when we went there. We stopped there for some quick tapas. It took the waitress almost an hour to serve all three - the last one came with the receipt - not because it was so busy but because she had forgotten several times. Also, this place is very popular with tourists, no locals in... More

Absolutely terrible service today, waitress was completely uninterested and rude. A mistake was made with the order but she did not care and just walked away. Absolutely no effort was made to make our meal enjoyable. I will never go back here!

Ordered scrambled eggs with vegetables, but only got the vegetables. When we asked about it and pointed out the same dish on the Spanish menu we were told off in Spanish and she pointed at a completely different dish on the menu. Mistakes happen, but deal with it professionally please... Toilets were dirty as hell by the way. Never again.

We ordered two beers and four tapas. We were charged for five tapas, two beers and a coffee. I queried the bill and the waitress accepted my correction but her management clearly were unhappy at the situation. Fortunately, the dirty dishes had not been cleared from the table so I had my evidence! It took a further challenge from me... More
