Had an enjoyable night here. They have a number of outdoor tables which you can request (although not guaranteed). The menu has a number of interesting dishes. Amuse Bouches were a nice touch (beetroot gazpacho). Starters were good although the waitress misrecorded our order and brought a different lobster dish instead of lobster bisque. Per the chef 'this happens all... More

If you book the half board option the food choices are just as good as the a la carte and are actually from the same menu

We arrived fairly late at the Hotel and to save time we stayed in. The portions were quite small and everything was overpriced. The food tasted fine but there just was not enough of it. So if you have plenty of money and want something light to eat then this is for you.

Expectations for Christmas lunch are always high, and the Amapola exceeded all of ours. Wonderful Spanish style starters, including crayfish, crab bisque, cold meats etc. The main course was a Spanish version of roast turkey, but all very delicious. A wonderful Spanish singer created a great atmosphere and three hours after lunch started, no one wanted to leave. Thank you... More

We have dined in this restaurant many times over the years, but on this occasion it was a bigdisappointment. We had been told that the standard had fallen and for a restaurant in a supposedly 5* Hotel, the standard was certainly below what I would expect. On top of this it was extraordinarily expensive. Two starters, two maincourses and only... More

Fantastic service. Chose the local Jumilla Juan Gil 2011 Cranza. The Lobster Bisque was exceptional as was the Paella.

Brilliant meal with great staff I asked for a dish not on the menu and this was fine we can do sir. Good wine list a bit high priced but all top quality. I love the setting and the views are superb.

The restaurant is the flagship restaurant of the Hotel Principe Felipe. I has a lovely setting with a terrace overlooking the golf course. The menu is quite limited and it does not change very often. The quality of the food is okay but not special. I asked the same starter on two separate occasions and what was presented looked quite... More

After having spoken to a resident who recommended this restaurant I booked a table for 6 for Sunday lunch. I was aware that it was a buffet lunch and the reviews indicated that it was worth the visit. We were all very disappointed. The starters were ok - prawns, salad, nachos, fresh whitebait, smoked salmon, salad...all ok but nothing that... More
