This restaurant was well located on the Plaza De Mayor, but we dined outside around the side. The menu was so inviting and the food so delicious that we ate here three nights running. The waiting staff were knowledgable about the menu and the wine. We had a performance by the waiter when we ordered Gin Mare - he brought... More

We wanted an evening meal in the Plaza Mayor & choose Los Galayos. The setting was what we were looking for but the rest of the experience was distinctly average. The food was OK & the bill would have been reasonable were it not for the fact the waiter decided he was worth a 20 euro tip. He wasnt!

Nice and friendly service. delicious and fresh food. Only thing is the price. It's a bit expensive. But I still like it. I'd recommend it to friends.

I was recommended this place by a 5 star hotel concierge as the best one!! Well, it's good, but definitely not the best! The food is good, I ate paella marisco/seafood. Of course I have to admit there is no place outside Valencia where I could taste a real paella! However it was still very good! The restaurant was kind... More

A dinner with a group of colleagues in a set menu isn't something that can characterise the quality of the restaurant, We had the usual starters, which were very good, such as the characteristivc croquettes and Jamon, but the main dish ( a chop) was greasy and rather hard to chew. We weren't asked about how much c=ooked we wanted... More

If you are hungry don't go here! We ordered the grilled langoustines, there came ONEvery little langoustine just to fill once your mouth and that was it at the price of 19 euro and you had to pay extra for the bread. it was very disappointing.

The Castilian food here is first rate. This place is at Plaza Mayor square. Not so difficult to find. here they serve a lot of modern and traditional dishes. All dishes arre goood. When you get here and don't know how to order, just close your eyes and point. Nothing can go wrong.

Gourmet Madrid organised a great wine tasting and tapas meal at this restaurant in the cave below. Magnificent ambience in the cellars with some very good inexpensive wines and a full meal of tapas and a main course. We had almost two bottles of wine with the meal at a cost of only 63 euros each total. Value plus. Check... More

Place is a solid 4 - but a 5 in La Plaza Mayor. Excellent steak & octopus. A little pricey, but I would definitely eat there again.

The food was ok, nothing special or innovative, but definitely well-acceptable. The service was satisfactory, although, as usual, none of the waiters could speak a word of English. Nothing special overall and rather expencive for the quality of food offered. Well, a corner position in Plaza Mayor appears to be rather costly......
