I was visiting here as a guest and I was delighted by the idea of converting a 20's theater to a restaurant and using the heavy guns of design. Top notch place in terms of creativeness, design, appearance, artistic quality. The restaurant part of the place is above average but not special. Great bar though in the middle of the... More

Waiters acted like they were doing us a favour. Didnt let us have cocktails in the restaurant (we had to go upstairs to drink it) Didnt wait for us to ask for the bill, just suddenly put the bill on the table and turn on the lights to kick us out. Disappointing food But the way staff treats the clients... More

I stopped at the Teatriz for tapas. For that, and being alone, this was the perfect place. Relax and not too noisy. The personnel is really very nice, every single person is warm and smiley. I really wanted to like the place! But the food arrived and it was not so good. I ordered the patatas bravas and the morcilla.... More

This converted theater makes for a wonderful eating venue. Now they added a ceviche bar on the stage and it complements he rest of the items on the menue. Service is phenomenal and the pricing of both the food and the wine are very fair for the quality you get. We visit Madrid every year and the place has no... More

This restaurant was recommended to us by a co-worker. It is one of the current buzz dinner locations of Madrid. It is an old theatre, the structure of which is still visible, wonderfully redecorated by Philippe Starck. We had made reservations for Enscenario, the tapas area. We were served by Luis, who did a great job in hospitality and advising... More

We visited because another restaurant was full. We got a table at the traditional part of the restaurant, although we could have also chosen the Asian part of the restaurant. The setting of the place is beautiful and unique - a former theater transformed into a restaurant. Acoustics are great, and even with some people in the room we were... More

I have gone to Teatriz many times over the years. It is a beautiful place. The food has always been good to exceptional and the service the same. Over the years, they have varied the menu, with mixed results. I would recommend this place if you want a nice atmosphere, good service (menus in English), very good food, and you... More

The first impression, when you get into the dining room, is quite positive because the place is very well decorated and the ambiance of a theatre very well kept. Then you ask for the menu and I tried a cocktail - champagne something - for aperitif and it tasted awful, extremely sweet and very, very industrial flavor. We ordered the... More
