Tasty and well presented food served by a friendly team. Worth a visit. The menu del dia is very good value! I hope to return!

In a street right next to Plaza Mayor. The people who run (and own) this restaurant are always welcoming and kind. The menu de dia changes every day of the week and the full 3 course lunch is huge (well, at least for me)! The food is delicious, creatively cooked, and all vegetarian. Many dishes come with a vegan option... More

Super Excellent!!(-: The only unfortunate thing about this restaurant is that we went there on our last day in Madrid, and didn't have the chance to enjoy more of their yummy dishes..don't miss out on the vegan nachos! friendly staff! Wish there was a Yerbabuena in every city in the world(;

My wife and I are visiting Madrid for a couple of days. Being vegetarian for 14 years, we use a combination of TripAdvisor and Happy Cow to choose where to eat when traveling. Our first night we chose Yerbabuena and I can say that the meal we had was easily one of the top five vegetarian meals we have had... More

This restaurant was a nice surprise, especially in a city where you can eat almost only meat. Strongly recommended to vegetarians and vegans or people who just don't like meat! Please note that the portions are more than reasonable, for some two plates are too much.

Being vegans, it's not always easy to be able to try local dishes, and this was particularly true in Spain, with paella being one example! So we decided to try out a vegetarian restaurant serving traditional food for lunch one day, and found Yerbabuena! We went for the more expensive menu of the day (20 euros instead of 13) because... We wanted to love this restaurant. The service is very warm and friendly and the owner very obviously serves with passion. The introductory tapa they brought out was the best part of the meal. We decided not to eat most of the hard bread rolls that were out on our table when we arrived. The juices and smoothies were great.... More

WOW! The food is almost to beautiful to eat. We were 2 vegetarians and one flexitarian and one person who LOVES meat, but everyone was happily surprised by the delicious, beautiful, and reasonably priced food. We loved it so much that we went 3 times during a 5 day stay. The best deal is during the main meal of the... More

Our party of five included two vegetarians but everybody enjoyed an excellent meal. For €20 per head we had a wonderful mix of salads, soup, paella, crepes and plentiful wine. Everything was beautifully presented. Even carnivores will be surprised and delighted.
