Do not miss this place if you are in Spain. The lentils are reason enough to go. There is fois in them but they don't really need it. Incredibly savory. They are made with a secret mix of pureed vegetables. Beef chop - get it medium rare, close your eyes and eat it. Some of the best beef I've ever... More

A series of intimate rooms, spacious tables, white napery and excellent lighting make this a very good-looking and classy restaurant, which clearly attracts a well-heeled local clientele. The welcome was extraordinarily friendly and the explanation of the menu was precise and hugely helpful. Lovely food, served with wide smiles and professional care, an interesting wine list with good prices and... More

I gave this a 5 last year and wanted to repeat it! Everything here oozes class. Even the bread and olive oil seem to say "quality". We had both meat and fish mains, both were lovely. The lady who greets the guests and her team are warm and friendly. The wines on the list are impressive and across a wide... More

What a great place. At the time of writing la manduca is #101 in Madrid. No way is there 100 better places to eat. We ate here on recommendation from the Spanish consulate in the city where we live was not disappointed. We often eat at Michelin starred restaurants and the food here was equally as good as a 1... It is difficult to find nowadays a restaurant which does not follow the trend of serving the same "posh" food for which the flavor and test are exactly the same from one place to another. This one is an exceptio. The owner can advice on the vegatables of the day, cultivated by the owner's family. Follow his advice, it is... More

We managed to snag the last table for a Thursday evening. As a testament to its popularity, dinners at the restaurant were booked out for the next 2 days. We found out why! The reception, from my phone reservation to the welcome upon arrival, was warm and sincere. Seated near the front of the room, I observed the arrival of... More

The warmth and generosity of the owners is reflected in the wonderfully light, fresh and healthy cuisine. Don't come here for a big plateful of paella with sangria. Come for unusual vegetables and wonderfully fresh fish, and sample the wines from Navarre. I found the seasonings to be a bit bland for my taste, but otherwise the food was quite... More

We went here in the hope of getting good vegetables in Spain. We were not disappointed. It was Saturday night and we think we were the only tourists with the place almost full. The food is from Navarre and they pride themselves on sourcing good products and are they good at it! We had wonderful beans, the best padron peppers... More

After a long day walking around Madrid this was the perfect way to end our evening. The staff were extremely friendly and provided excellent service, and the food was amazing, making this a great choice for dinner. All in all we had a great time and wonderful food at the spectacular restaurant that we would highly recommend.
