Very pleasant lunch - good, friendly service, enjoyed the food. We had a table of 4, hosted by a local who knows his restaurants. Shared 2 starters - delicious hummus and a salad. For main, I had a mushroom and pumpkin risotto - excellent. Plenty of bread too. We ate from the a la carte (I didn't see the bill)... More

I booked the place for brunch for a group of 13 people. I had to pay the total amount upfront. The mimosa eggs were way overcooked and hard. The positive point was the croissants, as good as real French ones. Don't know what happen to this place but everything was so much better a few years ago...

We went there for dinner on a saturday night. And I called for a reservation. I had their famous onion soup, expecting cheesy onion soup like I had in France. BUT… what I got was a light, tasteless onion soup with a bread toped with not so grilled cheese. Very bad. It's like a mix between spanish castillian soup with... More

The place is a franchise of French cuisinne some years ago it was very good but now a days service and variety have fallen down. I never were able to drink a Bordeaux wine there. Quality is good but as it used to be.

This is an awesome spot in central Madrid. It is located in Plaza Matute. Chef Juan Andres is the best. He made us excellent food every day and can't do I table to acknowledge us. We were in Madrid four days and are here several times. The drinks are awesome. The food is better. Must try.

Enjoyed a fixed prices table d'Hote menu in here, very reasonably priced, Menu had varios choices, I had the french onion soup, Delicious, Beouf Bourguinon, nice rich sauce although the meat was a little tough, nicely served in a family style casserole that you could ladel out yourself. Creme Brulee for dessert, very nice. All for 12 euros.

This is my favourite restaurant in Madrid. I like to go for lunch so that I can eat greedily then have the whole afternoon and evening to work it off. Also there is a great prix-fixe menu for lunch which is unbelievably cheap. Everything served in the restaurant at the back of the building is completely French, apart from the... More

Tired of Tapas? Straight French restaurant. Not that fancy. Food was pleasant and probably to French tastes rather than English. Service was friendly, helpful and pleasant. Menu in Spanish and French but the waiter helped our translation. Excellent steak, good starters, duck breast - not cooked in any way to defeat fattiness, desserts a bit plain.

My husband and I had a wonderful lunch at this place. He had the Marget (duck) and I had fish with a light leek and butter sauce. It was divine! The service was very nice as well!

We had an awful meal here last week, the starter salad was brown and inedible, when we complained we were told that was the only salad they had and that we could have another one but it would be the same, the mussels were over cooked but thankfully a tiny portion. Very poor all round - avoid until they improve... More
