Unimpressed with the food selection and dinning room. Service was mediocre. Total let down. The server starts wth a ham from Spain without even asking if one cares for the starter.

We loved our meal, thanks to a great waiter who was generous with suggestions and knew what he was talking about, having worked here for over 30 years. Authentic, simple food very well prepared. Highly recommended!

If you want to impress someone you are doing business with, take them to El Lando. It has an exclusive area where you have a Tepanyaki kind of table and they cook for you. Have the big gambas and langostinos. Pictures of important visitors ar all over the wall. Very pricy though

Simple, honest traditional Spanish food with excellent ingredients. It's the place locals take guests to give them a glimpse of Spain's culinary heritage, matched by the expert service.....don't be put off by the walls of photos with celebrity guests, you will be treated like family and you will have a great time......let the waiter guide you on the orders and... This restaurant offers good traditional Spanish cooking. Fish dishes seem the best choice. It has a very old fashioned feel to it. Quality is good though prices are rather steep.

This is less of a touristy spot and most of the waiters do not speak English. However, it is quality, fresh, simple Spanish cuisine. I highly recommend the fried sole (lenguado). The salads here are not typical American style salads, so unless you enjoy a salted salad with tuna and egg, I would recommend avoiding them. Otherwise, everything else is... More

El Lando is rich in many ways: heritage and history, furnishing and ambience, food and wine. Dined at this place with a coterie of associates following the conclusion of a very difficult transaction. The restaurant did not disappoint, befitting the closing event. Whilst you clearly have the upper hand if you're a Madrileno, visitors are warmly welcomed and served with... More

This place has the same owner as casa lucio and a similar menu. The place is a traditional taverna madrileña with all the spanish classics like huevos estrellados and pulpo a la gallega. The ingredients are top notch and the place is super recomended.
