We found this through TA and it proved to be a most enjoyable meal. I can only endorse what TaraLoves Travel and other have posted below. This is a very smart but ultimately informal restaurant that provides exceptional cooking. We were the only non-Spanish people in the restaurant. We booked for 9pm but were pretty much the first in that... More

I visited this restaurant on July 12, 2014 with 5 others. We spotted it in a Michelin guide. The style of the restaurant is relaxed and casual. our reservation was early for Madrid (9pm) - we were the only ones there; by 10pm it was full. The food is delicious - they have a selection of starters, tortills and then... More

We visited this restaraunt during our visit to Madrid in May 2014. 2 adults and one 9 year old child. As it is stated in the name, specialities of restaraunt are traditional spanish Omlettes and they have variety of choice there. We decided to try to differrent omlettes and both of them were good (Tortilla de Pulpo - yammi !).... More

While within walking distance of the Sorolla Museum, a charming and underrated museum, this is a restaurant you almost certainly wouldn't ever get to without advice from a local, and that was how my wife and I ended up there. While we had spent a month in Barcelona, many of the items on this menu were new to us. Going... More

Great quality meal and good service. The tortilla and "escalope" were excellent. The desserts all seemed amazing, went for the "brie" flan and was not disappointed.

They have the best dessert ever! Make sure to try the brie flan. All the dishes were very good as well.

This place really worth visiting! The food was amazing: veal cheeks, kumato tomatoes salad and yogurt ice-cream would not leave you disappointed. Booking a table in advance highly recommended.

Phil and I stopped by after visiting the Sorolla Museum two blocks away. I has the Casar Torrillas and Phil had ham croquettes and the Pork. For a wine we paired a Jumilla Gil . The service was as good as our meal. Would go back if we are ever in the neighborhood again.

I can only commend both the service and the food at Las Tortillas. I showed up without any reservation and I was lucky enough that they could reorganize some seating for me. This was just the start of great and yet friendly service. As mentioned in other reviews, you must have one of their delicious, traditional but yet original Tortillas... More

Not only the Tortillas are amazing, but the fish... you wouldn't expect in a restaurant called "Las Tortillas" to have such a nice fish quality, at the level of top restaurants in Madrid. It is a must to have the "Flan de Queso" as a dessert, so good!
