A little expencive but still a good Spanish experience.

We were two couples visiting the restaurant a normal weekday so it was not very busy. The restaurant is decorated with pictures of a lot of celebrities that have visited the place. It is said that players from Real Madrid tend to visit the restaurant quite often. As first course we ordered four... read more

The walls are filled with photos of celebrities; it is said to be a hot spot for the Real Madrid... Soccer fan it's for you!! The meat that you grill yourself on a hot plate is delicious!!! The selection of cut meat made me dream and the appetisers are prepared for the pleasure of the sight and taste like the... More

We ordered the chuleton meat for two where they bring you a stone hot plate to cook the meat to your liking and it was delicious. The service was excellent bearing in mind we didn't have to wait long since we got there early (20.00) by Spanish standards. The atmosphere picks up around 22.00. Highly recommend for classic simple dishes... More

Food, atmosphere, service! All perfect absolutely the best in Madrid! Don't go before 10pm it is authentic Madrid and you won't get the experience. They treat everyone like royalty! Simply the best!

This Restaurant is for well to do Spaniards and the travellers! I went for the lunch alone. The food and house wine Rioja 2011 Cuvee were excellent. The atmosphere quite original and lovely. I had a mixed salad (small) followed by Solomillo then Torrija Caramelizadas ( small) .The overall service was excellent and the waiters very attentive and spoken some... More

The place is quite authentic and the walls are full with the photos of the celebrities that visited the place. The service is quite kind but there are not enough waiters for the whole place I think. I recommend chuleton especial para 2 personas, very good and tasty meat and since it comes with a hot plate everybody can cook... More

I am coming to this place nearly once a year and it stays at its quality and never disappointed me. The traditional setup from interior to menu fit together with a honest kitchen. The jamon ibereco served was excellent - the salad with bacalau & shrimps could use less or no mayonese. The main course "Solomillo" was superb and all... More

This place was recommended to me by a friend a while back. I finally had a chance to try it this week. I guess its greatest allure is that it's the local hangout of the Real Madrid soccer players, unfortunately I did not see any - not that I would recognize them anyway. The food while good isn't spectacular. I... More

A €10 cab ride from Calle Castellana will take you into what feels like the residential area of Madrid. Tucked away in a little (no doubt) once famous road is this old restaurant filled with very modern values. Namely, do one thing well, really well and all will be well. Muse there is plenty of old and traditional wooden panels... More
