A Madrid dining institution to try at least once

This was my second visit, about 15 years apart, and I wasn't disappointed as the food and service continue to be excellent. Yes, it is expensive - though the price is to some extent tempered by all the little extras you get. I went this time with my cousin and his 13-year-old daughter, and while... read more

Probably one f the best eateries in Madrid. The appetizers were amazing and the entrees were very good portion sizes. Perhaps the best steak in Madrid.

Everyone went on about this place. Celebrities come here for dinner and all that. I came here expecting the best food and wasn't impressed to be honest. Maybe it was me expecting the best food in Madrid. Deserts are good. Maybe 3 starts is a push from me but Iight come back and try a different dish

If you like steaks this is the place to eat. I have been coming here for years. They need to upgrade their decoration. The service is outstanding. Ask for chuleton it is a steak. Do not need to ask for dessert they will give you at the end some kind of dessert for free . Like cookies. I recommend it.

This steak house is close to the Real Madrid Stadium and a bit far from the other touristic sites. Meat is good but not exceptional and prices are high. Be aware for what they put in your table, as you will be paying for everything that you did not order (as a EUR 12.00 liquor they serve at the end..).... More

I had lunch the new year's day in this typical and famous Spanish restaurant. My family and me enjoy ed so much the lunch we chose steak with potatoes with french fries and rosted peppers. The meat was so delicious, maybe could appear expensive but it is worth going. A lady very kind served and all the staff service was... More

Very famous and for good reason. Great set up and good food. They pay more on the quantity than quality but still very decent. Prepare 100 euros per person including wine and dessert. The waiter was most helpful to select the wine and without a doubt it was one of the best bottled ever tasted!

Very good food & great fun to cook your own steak at the table with friends. Always a good friendly and relaxed atmosphere (so long as you go after 9pm),
