This is a very nice restaurant with great service and good food. We had cordero asado and I had steak. Both were very nicely prepared and delicious.

The restaurant is a top notch high class place. It has excellent service with very good food. Presentation of food and table attention are second to none. Of course, it is expected to be expensive. Champagne is offered at the beginning of the meal. Beware since you have no idea it will cost you 12 euros for half a glass.... More

This is a very classy but unpretentious restaurant serving excellent Spanish food. It's a large restaurant spread out over a couple of floors but split into different eating areas so you feel you're in an intimate restaurant. Everything about the restaurant exudes quality from the table settings to the services and especially the food. Being Spanish the restaurant gets busier... More

Great food presentation and service. My wife had a delicious stew of green beans and pheasant and I had a lamb struedel with a caprese salad. Good cocktails and a nice wine list. Some of the extras served with our meal were crispy onions, good rolls, crispy sweets, and a pea soup drunk from a tiny bowl. It could be... More

We've tried several Michelin starred places in Spain. Food was good but you won't even remember what you ate the next day. Too pretentious. El Paraguas offers amazing comfort Spanish food that you won't forget. Great service.

Lovely plush surroundings in a nice neighbourhood of Madrid. Surprisingly large restaurant with loads of staff pottering about. Very elegant feel to the place. Good service and top quality food. Nice wine selection too. Definitely worth a try.

I have been to this restaurant several times if anything the first thing that comes to mind is the consistency in the cuisine. El Paraguas is definetly one of the top restaurants in Madrid in the Salamanca section. The menu is based in classic Spanish cuisine with many of the classics like fabada Asturiana. There are many interpretations based in... More

Full house a Tuesday night made a promising start. The restaurant is like a big apartment and you a re guided through small and big rooms (passed the kitchen) to a table. Small and big Groups are welcome (we were 20). The service was great and both fish and meat dishes were highly appreciated in our group
