Sitting in the restaurant now and have mixed feelings. On arrival 4 tables occupied at 10.30pm and I was asked if I had a reservation? Being alone I said no and was seated immediately. After ordering I waited 25 minutes of my starter which was in fact very tasty a combination of Japanese prawns, veg, rolls, and mini pasties. While... More

They started out by giving us bread, which wasn't even very good but we nibbled at it without telling us that we had to pay for it and it was almost 3 euros! My plate of food was so dry that I sent it back and the second plate wasn't very good either. We had to wait a very long... More

I have eaten at various Wagaboo restaurants over the last year or so, most recently a few weeks ago. The food and service have always been excellent. In addition, they also offer special deals on a regular basis.

Very nice food at a very nice price... Modern but warm decoration. International food with a personal touch. Good service and different atmosphere depending weather you go at midday or at night. I would recommend it.

This was our worst restaurant experience for quite some time. Quite simply the staff were rude. If you're vegetarian steer clear. If you don't speak Spanish stay away (wouldn't it make sense to have English language menus printed if you are going to open a restaurant in the tourist part of the city? Especially if the 'tagline' of your restaurant... More

The food is ok, but dont expect anything fantastic. the noodles are good, don't go for the tuna. For the price you can find better places, although Wagaboo is ok, specially to go with friends on a thursday/friday night. Service is quite fast and on thursdays there is a mojito offer where you can get as much mojitos as you... More

At the end of a 11 day trip to Spain and Portugal we decided we needed a break from the local fare so tried Wagaboo (also, we needed a place where we could go straight from sightseeing so not impeccably dressed). It is funky and quite fun. There are apparently a number of branches and we went to the one... More

This is a chain restaurant that has couple branches in Madrid. I went to the one in Chueca in November 2009 and Ayala 14 last night, in June 2010. I first wanted to make a reservation at 20:30 by phone they didn't answer, so I went to there website and lucklyI could make a reservation from there. Then I received... More

We had very high expectations before going here, because of earlier experiences and recommendations. But we were met with over-attending service, almost nagging. The food was below mediocre. Pre-made dry spring rolls for starters with no flavor at all. Main course curry with rice. No salt in the rice! Tasted terrible.... Risotto was ok though but not worth it.
