My wife and I ate here as our "last meal in Spain" while vacationing in July. We were just walking the streets close to our hotel in an area we knew had good restaurants...it was a Friday evening and, even though it wasn't full, had a good crowd so we said "why not!" Greeted and seated immediately, we ordered a... More

I went to Arroceria Gala in the past and loved it. I went with a friend and we had sangria with the paella. The atmosphere made the experience even more enjoyable. It felt like eating dinner in a garden. I had the paella of course and from what I heard, this place is great for the paella.

The place has a cute atmposphere and nice patio though when I was there we were indoors bc it was cold. All spaniards having lunch here when I went, they offer paella and I ordered black rice. It was good and it was a huge portion, definitely for 2-3 persons. The service is fine. I speak Spanish so maybe others... More

I love spanish food anyway so this restaurant rates high on my list ! The paella is a must, go try it and enjoy, the perfect dish to enjoy after time spent sightseeing. Then wash it down with a fruity Sangria!! I love paella, so i decided to try the veggie option of this dish and it was so nice,... More

My husband and I had lunch here when we were in Madrid last fall... We just happened upon the restaurant and they had just opened for lunch so we took a table. We were especially happy that they could make our paella without bell peppers (as I can't eat them). We had a delicious lunch -- I didn't find the... More

Had dinner there with my parents and husband and found the paella to be pretty good. Not the best I've ever had, but not the worst either. We read about the place in our guide book, and I guess everyone else did too, the place is all tourists. If you're expecting a traditional Madrid dinning experience this place is not... More

This restaurant was given a good review by Fodor's. The waitperson came us to us and literally just said " Digame." The black paella was lousy, with 3 or 4 rings of squid for 2 persons. A nice Spanish couple were sitting next to us and were treated the same - "Digame!, " so it wasn't just because we were... More

It is a nice place if you want to go to have a decent paella with some friends, the decoration of this place is ok, but nothing great, and the food is good. It is not the best place to have paella in madrid, but in a budget it is a great place for wine and paella in Madrid.
