One night in Madrid, tired from three weeks of travel and the truly lovely proprietor at our hotel recommended this place. We realized that he was recommending a family business and that was suspect but fresh gazpacho was a draw after weeks on the road so we went. Wonderful location in an open air pretty plaza but the fact that... More

We went for dinner on the recommendation of our hotel. We wanted something authentic and not touristy. We were warmly greeted by the owner and our waiter Alfonso was very helpful in his recommendations. We had their speciality of beef that you cook at the table on a terra cotta hot plate. We also ordered a superb asparagus with aioli... More

This was suggested by Jaime from artrip hotel. Our first ciurse of anchovies and smoked salad started the evening well. House wine us higky recommended. We had the ribeye chuleton which you cook at your table - it was excellent. We finished the meal with Creme brûlée which could be better. I would go back if I visit Madrid again

Had dinner here twice. Everything just perfect. Excellent beef that you prepare yourself at a hot plate at the table. Funny and entertaining. Good wine and atmosphere. We were 11 persons from 3 to 70 years, and we had ad splendid time, feeling very welcome.

Ate here on a Friday night just wandering round looking for somewhere. Only just seen the mixed reviews but we liked it. We needed something refreshing so 4 of us shared 2 large salads to start with which were just right and not plastered in a think dressing, 2 of us shared the rib steak which you cook at your... More

We went here on the recommendation of Miguel of the ARTRIP hotel. we had the house speciality of beef, which we cooked at our table on terracotta plates. As one plate cooled, it was quickly replaced by the friendly and corteous waiting staff. Prices were good and ambience very enjoyable.

This dish is among the specialities in the restaurant. You get a sliced "Chuleton" for 2 persons for 31 eur. Then they bring a very hot iron pan and you fry the beef yourself. The pan is changed several times so it is very hot all the time. We liked it, the meat was fine and tasty. Wines are reasonably... More

Upon entering the restaurant, it is very clear that it has seen better days. The interior looks old in a bad way, but the waiters to their best to create a good atmosphere. The quality of the food varied a lot from an above average fish soup for starters Tina poor calamari for main course.

Seven of us had dinner here last night and every meal was awful. I ordered fillet steak medium rare: it was cut into two relatively thin slices which made me wonder if it was even fillet and completely over cooked, the only thing medium rare were the disgusting chips! They had crime brûlée on the menu but as it's my... More

A very comfortable feel to the place and we had a nice meal .... Pork shoulder, swordfish, glass of wine and a huge fresh salad .... All for 40 euros. And the service was good and the waiters friendly.
