We are a restaurant/taperia specialized in home made tortillas. Our customers can choose the size and mix the ingredients as they wish, and we make it in the moment. All our products have Galatians quality, and are made carefully to get an amazing taste (the size and quality of our potato, the time of cook, our oil, etc.) We have a modern design, with great music, and we pay special attention to our customers comfort.

I visited this place thanks to the Trip Advisor reviews. I am a fan of Spanish tortillas so was very keen to check it. We sat down to browse the menu. Lot of different tortillas but also some other dishes like croquetas, salad, etc. Choice is wide but as this local is dedicated to tortillas (roughly 30 of them on... More

We were sick of sandwiches, so we picked this place off of trip reviews. The tortillas were pretty GD good, and not too expensive. Beer was reasonable too, but the best part was sitting outside and having a front row for people watching.

Being in Spain and having eaten our share of different tapas, we decided that the food side of the experience was lacking some Spanish tortilla. I wasn't expecting much and was definitely positively surprised. The list to choose from was very long, so each and everyone should be able to find something to their liking here. We went for the... Good for a wide variety of tortillas. We had one with carmelised onions and blue cheese and one with turnip greens. They were good and went well with the house sangria. Recommend for a lunch or snack if out shopping by Corte Ingles.

This was my first day and restaurant in Madrid. I was solicited off the street to try this restaurant. I later found out from the waitress that they have only been in business for a month now. I ordered a tortillita with Chorizo Gallego, the best thing i have had since being in Spain. I just spent three days in... More

We discover this place on our first night at Madrid, and we came back everyday! Alvarro was our waiter most of the time and we ate tortilla with any kind of extra ingredient like poulpo, blue cheese or spinach, and croquettas! They have so many different ingredients ingredients, and i tried them all with my friend Henrietta. One other nice... More

My husband, 6-year old daughter, and I had a very good lunch at La Tortillita. The menu consists of a variety of tortilla patatas (omelets with potatoes). Mine had cheese and tomato. My husband had jamon iberico. Our daughter had a hamburger - she ate all of it, so it must have been good. They served the ketchup in a... More

The waiters are the owners. They paid attention to every detail when it came to service. They kept a keen eye on the customer at all times. Every waiter that passed our table made eye contact to see if we needed anything. The food tasted home made and the portions were just right. A cleaner establishment I have not seen... More

Staying in Centro

Neighborhood Profile
Centro
Expansive plazas, local and foreign crowds, street performers, colorful lights, window shopping, restaurant signs promising the best paella, ham, and churros con chocolate- this is downtown Madrid, a collection of plazas interconnected by a network of side streets. Some of these side streets are wide pedestrian shopping routes, and some are hidden, so it's possible to duck in and out of the bustle as desired. The iconic Puerta del Sol is the giant crossroads of the city and a must-see attraction at any time of the day. The nearby Plaza Mayor, completely enclosed by historic red buildings, is an ideal place to grab a bite to eat outside, amidst scores of tables and people out for a stroll. Plaza Isabel II (also known as “Opera”) is smaller and a good meeting spot, and the stately Plaza del Oriente is the front yard of the Royal Palace. Centro can be touristy (pickpockets are unfortuately not unheard-of here), crowded, and sometimes gimmicky, but it is also the place to experience classic Madrid.
