Good value restaurant

Situated near the Metro at Osuna, it is a relatively short walk from the Hilton Hotel. We enjoyed some excellent fish dishes , chosen from the 'English' worded menu. The food at this highly rated restaurant was very good. We had serrano ham, bean salad, salt encrusted sea bream and hake. Fish was great as were the starters. We were charged for what we thought was complimentary bread and olives. Not a big deal, both delicious, just beware.

Having read reviews on this site decided to give here a go as myself and a colleague were staying down the road at the NH Barajas (see separate review). I like local bars, populated by local people, so we had a couple of beers round the corner in one of these and then strolled into here at about 9ish on... More

Fabulous food and exceptional service---and only a short walk from Madrid airport Hilton. This place is terrific! Tomas went out of his way to make sure my wife and I had a great evening. His fresh fish recommendations were outstanding coupled with a steady flow of tapas/app's. We are headed back again only two days later as we are still... More

Great little family restaurant near the airport. As with Spanish restaurants, doesn't open until 8 pm. Great, friendly service. English menus but the wait staff doesn't speak it well. Nevertheless, their friendliness overcomes the language barrier. Outstanding fish dishes. Be sure to get the homemade Creme Caramel for dessert

Excellent Classic Family restaurant coming of age with the incorporation of the next generation coming on board.. The food is very fresh and always hand picked same day at the market by the owner and his son (the Chef)... The subtle mixing of classic tastes with a modern twist is just a DELICIOUS surprise..Taste Buds keep saying...WOW FIESTA!!! YUMMY!! (Oh,... More

We have been at the restaurant for three times and always has met our expectations. The owner is very friendly and makes great suggestions. Everything we have tasted is very good and well prepared. Great spanish food, tapas, raciones (portions) and main dishes -beef and seafood, prepard in wonderful spanish style. For dessert, don't miss the flan, the owner calls... More

We couldn't get a reservation at a restuarant in town so we decided to come over to this traditional Spanish restuarant to give it a try as it was close to Pullman Madrid. Turns out it was worth the effort. The gazpacho was excellent as was the lamb chops. The hake was a little strange but not bad. The waiter... More

We were staying at the Auditorium by the airport, and although the food there is outstanding, we fancied eating in a traditional Spanish restaurant. Castilla is a family run restaurant of the kind you don't really get in the UK anymore. The food was outstandingly fresh, beautifully cooked and well presented. I can recommend the lamb chops which were amazing.... More

As we were staying at the Madrid Hilton by the airport we decided to eat locally one night rather than go back into the city. There are plenty of good restaurants near here and Castilla did not disappoint. Warm reception was followed by an offer for a menu in English. Appetizer of garlic shrimp and artichokes with ham were delicious.... More
