During a visit to Madrid were in this restaurant 2 times. The second time went specially to eat meat which it is necessary to fry itself. When were the first time we saw this process at the next table. This dish called Chuleton de buey, the portion for 2 people. The waiter brings a special burner with ceramic plate, coarsely... More

This restaurant was recommended to us by the staff at Hotel Moderno and did not disappoint. It was so good, we went twice. We were two couples and the first night was steaks and the special roast lamb for two. The lamb was so tender and juicy and the steaks cooked just right. Excellent appetizers of Jamón Iberico and sheeps... More

We visited very early in the evening as we were attending a nearby concert. The staff seemed to be finishing off serving large group lunches and our presence wasn't welcomed. To start we had a nondescript salad and small plate of chorizo which was very fatty and not enjoyable at all. The main course was their speciality of suckling pig... More

suckling pig is their specialty on the menu, but it was the worst we ever tried. The portion was small, the side dishes weren't good either. The dessert was okay, but that couldn't save the evening. The staff was friendly. In a corner, office the manager seemed to be watching football without even turning down the volume. Not recommended

I felt as if I had become invisible - service was almost non-existent, the for not that great and the cost was expensive. The group in the other section seemed to be OK, they had all the waiters running round. I would have been more welcome in the McDonalds upstairs

Service outstanding, quality of food superb, and to top it all off, we tried the Pacharan as an after-dinner. with a party of 7 we had a great mid afternoon lunch. Don't miss this one when in Madrid.

Tucked away below a corner of the “Plaza Isabel 11” near the “Opera” Metro, this unassuming restaurant was brilliant find. With just enough space to sit outside between the restaurant and the sloping street we read the menu and although there was not a great choice we did realise that the Asador specialised in suckling pig. We had never tried... More
