You only pay 1 Euro for a tapa, but the quality is poor. The salmon was difficult to cut with your teeth and swalowing it makes you almost choke. The patatoes cost 2 Euros, but it's Mc. Donalds quality. The "tinto de verano" was good.

I really wanted to review the Cerveceria 100 Montaditos at Calle Major 22, but cannot find it on the list. It is steps from San Ginés Chocolateria and Churros. Here they have set ups as well as menu ordering. I had the Iberia of 6 sandwiches for 6 Euros. My friends had other menus also a variety of 6 for... More

At first, we didn't understand what was going on here. They have a system whereby you fill in forms that are at the tables, take that up to the cashier and pay, and give them your name. Then after the specified time (5 minutes or less) you go back to the kitchen area near the entrance to collect your food... More

What a great place for a quick bite at a reasonable price! We enjoyed the outside seating, and it was fun to be able to try many different menu items. TIP: No waiters here. You need to go inside, fill out your food form and pay at the register. Ten minutes later, you come back for the food.

Popular and cheap, beer, wine and mini sandwiches. The sandwiches were great but the wine was very small. You order at the counter and it's great when you're too hungry to to be waited on. The mini sandwiches were the highlight and there's tons of variety. And don't be shy about ordering 4 or 5 different kinds because they are... More

Tasteful and cheap! At Sundays everything is even cheaper! Great place. Highly recommended especially for young people who like to gather to drink a beer

Very nice concept. Honestly I was really surprised that this is part of a chain. It looks like some typical local pub. Convenient location in the city centre, cheap bear and great outside sitting area. Unfortunately I did not try their food, but based what I saw it has to bee good :) No surprise the place is so crowded.

Best place in Madrid to eat and drink. I recommend the drink called Tinto de verano, and the best thing is that if you go on Wednesdays or Sundays EVRYTHING in the menu is just one euro (beer, wine, tapas, sandwiches, everything) really good place to go with friend and stay for a couple of hours.

For a very quick bite and a beer this was OK, but the buns were pretty tasteless, but the beer was cold and it did the job. No more than that!

These are fast food rest that are inexpessive and covinient. They run speciasl different days of the week and they sell nice littel sandwiches and chips. They also have beer and vino de verano (like a sangria) that is very refreshing.
