My husband and I loved this restaurant. The complexity of flavors and textures was so thoroughly crafted. Highlights for us were most certainly the grilled octopus appetizer and the red tuna entrée. The addition of an apple sorbet to the gazpacho modernized a dish that we had eaten in so many restaurants across Spain.

We came upon this restaurant by chance on a Tues evening (it was rather empty) because we did NOT want more tapas. We had the octopus and ceviche (both fresh and so tasty) to start and paella as the entree (plus wine). This is not a paella restaurant per se, but it was really delicious paella (they serve it with... More

We were actually planning to go to Casa 9 but it was full. Lucky us! Really nice food, really nice service, really nice place. Not too big prices. We really enjoyed it! They really encouraged you to share food and served the dishes really nicely on your plate (instead of just setting the dish for you to serve your self).

We ordered the tasting menu and even though the waiter did warn us it was simply way too much food! The quality was good and the waiters really did their best but for a restaurant of that Price level there were just too few waiters so we had to wait for wine, Water etc.

We were not offered the set menu we had read online but had decided to order a la carte in any case. This proved to be the right decision because the food was very ordinary and certainly did not live up to expectation based on the restaurant's rating on TA. We have had some fantastic dining experiences during our three... More

Although we booked this restaurant through a discount site we were very well treated. Its a cosy, romantic restaurant with good spanish/french dishes. Huge portions but refined nonetheless.

Maybe It was highly recommended and that is why the expectations were too high. It was a saturday night dinner, with my couple. The guy who welcomed us was not very welcoming. The rest of the waiter and waitress were really nice indeed. We ordered croquetas and pulpo a la brasa for starters. The croquetas were too huge and though... More

We were a party of 6 without a reservation on a Saturday. They were most kindly. It looked empty but this is the normal late dining thing in Madrid. We were fortunate as they just had a cancellation. It filled up pretty quickly afterwards, a reflection of how good they are. Starters were excellent, they do a croquette starter, that... More
