Good pizza

We got the margherita pizza for 9.90 euros and the diavola (salami) pizza for 10.90 euros, which were good. Staff are super friendly, and the atmosphere is nice.

We had a nice evening: pasta pizza and tiramisù. portions were big enough and the service fast. Definitely a place to return...

We ordered the Grazie Mill pizza and a lobster pasta which was okay, not too shabby. It was fine for its price, but we wouldn't visit again.

We ate here starters and Pasta dishes. Food was good but little expensive. Also the service got slower during the evening. But if you travel with children this is ok pit-stop between Tapas.

This was the worst meal we'd had as a family in Spain, by far. We had reservations and were promptly seated, which was the end of promptness. After a long while, someone came to our table to take our order of apps, entree and bottle of wine for the adults, pizza and pasta for the kids. The kids food came... More

When you're tired of tapas and squeezing into cramped bars, this is the place. Some of the best pizza I've ever had including New York and Naples. Could not have been happier with the simple Grazie margherita pizza. We also got the pappardelle with mushroom, truffle, and Italian sausage in a cream sauce. Phenomenal. Go you won't be disappointed.

The restaurant has a central convenient location near major attractions. However, we were unimpressed by the quality of the food compared to other Italian restaurants in the city. In addition, when we were there people were constantly standing by our table speaking loudly above our heads, and it was not a relaxing experience either.Overall, if you are out for Italian... More

Walking down Mayor Street, I found this Italian restaurant. The environment was very friendly and the service was good. I ordered a simple Spaghetti Al Pomodoro and it was one of the best I had. I also had focaccia bread with olive oil. It was ok...

Dinner on weekend. The food was delicious ! Impeccable service. The waiter was very attentive and truly hospitable. The atmosphere was very pleasant, uplifting, not too causal, not too formal, just great. I would love to come back to try everything on their menu. Grazie a te, Grazie mille !

Staying in Centro

Neighborhood Profile
Centro
Expansive plazas, local and foreign crowds, street performers, colorful lights, window shopping, restaurant signs promising the best paella, ham, and churros con chocolate- this is downtown Madrid, a collection of plazas interconnected by a network of side streets. Some of these side streets are wide pedestrian shopping routes, and some are hidden, so it's possible to duck in and out of the bustle as desired. The iconic Puerta del Sol is the giant crossroads of the city and a must-see attraction at any time of the day. The nearby Plaza Mayor, completely enclosed by historic red buildings, is an ideal place to grab a bite to eat outside, amidst scores of tables and people out for a stroll. Plaza Isabel II (also known as “Opera”) is smaller and a good meeting spot, and the stately Plaza del Oriente is the front yard of the Royal Palace. Centro can be touristy (pickpockets are unfortuately not unheard-of here), crowded, and sometimes gimmicky, but it is also the place to experience classic Madrid.
