Very good food with reasonable prices

They serve very tasty and well presented for at reasonable prices. I would advice to share the entrance dish. ask for half portion. Quantity is enough and you will be able to try more things. The ambience is also quite nice.

It's an amazing restaurant located in the center of Madrid, I went to dinner with my boyfriend because I saw some good opinions about it here. Waiters were excelent, they treated you in a very close way. The food was quite interesting. They have lots of combinations of different kinds of food. I recommend it to someone who wants a... More

Situated in a lesser road of Madrid. Interior is small, modern and tastefully decorated. The menuecard is short. The set menue at 40€ for 4 courses. The plates were modern, nicely presented, although, we believed, somewhat underseasoned and a little simplistic in taste. Our expectations became high, since the first course, grilled white and green asparagus, with smoked Wagyu slithers,... More

I stayed at the Mercure, off Plaza Espana. I simply let the Trip Advisor app on my iPad find my location and asked for local restaurants. I reviewed the TA reviews and opted for Treze. I was not disappointed; although I wondered whether the restaurant would attract any other diners when I arrived just before 9pm. As foreign visitors will... More

We saw this restaurant in a food critic site and it was quite recommended but we did not expect this level of delicious food. We went for a tasting menu composed of two entrées, one fish, one meat, dessert: 40 Euro + drinks (2.5 euro/beer) + 2.5 service (bread and apero) The appetizer was a purée mousse with truffle oil... Neighborhood Profile
Barrio de Salamanca
Broad, tree-lined avenues with pretty streetlights frame the neighborhood of Barrio Salamanca. With beautiful condominium buildings that make up most blocks in this area, this part of town is refined and quiet. It is also host to a few of the city's large shopping avenues, including Calle Serrano and Calle Jose Ortega y Gasset. A walk down these streets will reveal upscale chains, small boutiques, and plenty of opportunities for shopping or checking out the stylish displays. The locals here are polished and fashionable, the atmosphere is leisurely, and the lush Retiro Park on the southern border is yet another opportunity to enjoy the outdoors. A stroll through Barrio Salamanca is all about admiring the beautiful architecture, window-shopping, and people-watching in this upper-crust corner of Madrid.
