Another interesting restaurant on the lovely Plaza de Paja. This time we ate inside. The décor has a Scandinavian feel (but no apparent connection) with its soft lighting, wood panelling and intimate pale blue. We shared excellent ‘virutas’ (shavings) of foie gras, with a porto sauce and toast as a starter. For mains we had ‘presa ibérica’ (shoulder of Iberian... More

Overpriced, pretentious and felt sick after eating there, although the decor is kind of cute. This place used to be good but has gone to the dogs in my humble opinion

After lots of montaditos and other quick bites, we were on the lookout for a nice restaurant with the (figurative) flavor of Madrid. We tried on a Saturday night without a reservation and it was a no-go. However, we made reservations onsite for the next evening and were not disappointed. We arrived a bit early because we misjudged the travel... More

Went here with a large-ish group of 9 people. I guess we were there in the early side at 8:30 but was still happy that they were able to seat us with no problem. The food was Spanish but I think with a French twist. The atmosphere was quite nice too. Everything was very tasty and the service was great.... More

For a taste of a typical Spanish restaurant from many years ago try here, a bit of a step back in time The staff were excellent. The atmosphere good when we visited. Food not really to more modern standards but fitted in well with the decor and ambiance. Hope this does not sound negative, we had a good...

Very nice location, inside as well as outside. Had lunch on the terrace, but when it became too cold, we moved inside. Food was excellent. Typical Spanish dishes, but with a nice twist. Had my best steak tartare ever!

We went here for lunch and enjoyed it a great deal. We took the lunch menu, which was both tasteful and cheap, and on top the service was very warmhearted and polite.

While the food isn't exactly Spanish, it is fabulous! Beautifully done atmosphere with widely spaced, rustic wooden tables. The wait-staff is attentive and charming. The food was flawless. The complementary croquettes were delicious and set up the meal well. We had the squash ravioli, pork shoulder and monkfish with scallops and had trouble deciding which we liked best. The violet... Went to this place like others because of the TA reviews. I always slightly question the reviews on here sometimes because I feel some reviews of either too generous, too ill informed or too 'American'. As a true blooded yorkshireman I like to think I know my food. This place however was lovely, the waitress was as attentive as can... More
