Ate here last night as my favorite place Lateral, opposite restaraunt was full. This place is terrible. The food is ok. The service is dreadful. I am by myself on business and so shouldn't be difficult to serve me and get my order right. They royally screwed it up and then as none of them can speak English...hmmmm...they couldn't correct... with cozy terrace, extended openning hours, great scrambled eggs, a little upper terrrace for exclusive 6 person dinners.

Cinco Jotas had about 6 locations but this is Not chain food. Specialty is Iberian ham from puffs raised organically in pastures eating acorns. We had only main dishes but desserts looked good as well. A favorite of at least some locals! Don't miss looking at charming mural that looks like it is straight from a folk tale, and at... More

Great location right on the Plaza de Santa Ana with view of the renovated hotel ME Reina Victoria. I was a bit surprised by what looked like vapor shooting from the ends of the large umbrellas that shade the tables from the sun - turns out it's now become a custom all over Madrid - jets of water to moisten... The only thing these guys have going for them is their location. But in terms of food, it is a total rip-off. Nowhere the kind of tapas Madrid is famous for, esp. when you pay what you do for the food. And the less said the better about the service. The staff really couldn't care less if you have a... More

Had the fixed price tapas menu for dinner with a couple beers and it came to 61Euro for the two of us. The tapas were fine, though nothing special, but the portion sizes were very small. Lots of litter blowing around the tables and overall it didn't feel special in any way. Give it a miss.

We stopped in for a bite and found the food far better than expected for such a "touristy" location just off the Puerto del Sol. The salad with goat cheese was amazing, the morcillo sausage very flavorful. The waitron was a bit disengaged but that's Spain for you! I do think the tapas menu was overpriced, you do much better... You could afford to stay in Madrid for ever if you only ate and dined here. Love it. Friendly and congenial atmosphere

My wife and I went in here as we were already in the plaza where it was located and they had a salad that looked good for her. Biggest mistake we made while in Madrid. This was the worst meal we had in Spain and that is saying a lot considering I never got a chance to eat my meal.... More

The quality of food here is pretty decent - between my husband and I - we had salads (our choice) for starters, meatballs and chicken for mains, fruits and cheesecake for desserts. Bread and a glass of Mahou beer with the menu of the day. While the food is not fabulous, I don't regret going there. Servings were sufficient to... More
