The atmosphere is relaxed and the staff is helpful and nice. the terrace is kinda on top of the square and you can read a book or simply admire the art painted on the shops' iron curtains. it is located not far from the gya district so it is animated in... Lamucca is a wonderful treat. The athmosphere fantastic, the food too. We were a large group, 18, that sat in the cellar round a big wooden table. Got super delightful tapas as appetizers, and an enormous rare rib-eye for main. Wine was good and plenty too. The place is very dynamc and stylish, the waiters hard-working and even late in... We can't write about the food because we came in late at night, just to have drinks and dessert. First off, the environment got a really cool vibe. Every time we walked passed this place on other nights, it was packed to the max. So this was my last night in Madrid, on a sunday night, and saw some space... More

A nice surprise close to the disappointing hotel were I stayed for business. Fast service with the right courtesy Good food with the right price. I had a nice ceviche, second only to the one I had in Lima in Peru And a great dish of spicy nachos as a starter Lovely break

One of the waitresses was so rude to us that we left before ordering anything. A shame because the food looked good!

We apologize for that ugly behavior, it does not describes our philosophy of assistance. We try to offer good service to our customers and this example can not be further from the concept of quality we want to offer. Your comment will be seriously considered. More

Just a really nice place to have an amazing dinner. Also the staff was really nice and even though it was full outside, sitting inside is also great. If you want to have a place for sure you should not go too late

Such a great restaurant we run into while wondering around un-purposely on our firsy night in Madrid. 3 carnivores and one semi-vegetarian, we all enjoyed so much from our dinner! We had the best salad we ever has in Spain (or anywhere else...) with an amazing raspberry sauce. The entire staff was very friendly and smiley. The shift manager was... More

Staying in Malasana

Neighborhood Profile
Hip bars and galleries, independent theaters and music venues, young people with tattoos and funky hair, narrow winding streets — this is Malasaña. Near the center, Plaza Dos de Mayo is a gathering of friends outside bars, dog owners, artists under craft tents, and creative types with notebooks and sketchpads on the plaza’s benches. It may not be as neat and tidy as many other parts of the city, but this only adds to the Malasaña edge. Shops and bars here range from hippie-crunchy to upscale trendy, and on weekends, the streets are bustling around the clock as the nightlife progresses from dinner to bar to disco to late-night food. On the west side of the neighborhood is the subdistrict called Conde Duque, named after a large pink fort in its center that has been converted into a cultural center for exhibitions and performances. Prettier yet just as edgy, this intimate corner of Malasaña is home to a young international community.
