Great authentic American burgers for a casual meal.

Good burgers, but you should def ask for medium done or rare. If not it looses a lot of flavour. The col salad was very good, but we had different oppinios about the fries. Overall a very nice place for a casual dinner if reserved in advance.

Plenty of single places empty, he wouldn't sit me with no reservation. Doesn't any english for an 'american' burger place. Shambolic and living on its past.

Burgers cook a they want, not as the client asks. Very bad french fries. In neral titers are not at al.They are probably badly paid and they do not care. Noisy, crowded, to many tables for the space available. They are convinced that are the best, so they do not improve. Only business andmake money as fast as possible

After having heard good things about the restaurant in Cuzco I decided to give the one at Lagasca a try. I can't say there was one thing worth it (hopefully this review so I can save a lot of people some disappointment and some money). Level of noise: Hard Rock Cafe. Square metres: the bar opoait to my house is... More

After reading good reviews I thought I would try it. (not)welcomed by a serious and moody barman I sat at a table upstairs. Ordered a beer and checked the menu. I ordered the 160g Alfredo burger with cheese, bacon and BBQ sauce and fries. Asked how I wanted the burger cooked, I requested a su punto which should be medium... More

This place has been around....forever...There are 2 more locations but this is the original and first one. Its very popular, inexpensive and has become a classic in Madrid. One can arguably say its the best burger in town. The quality of the meat is excellent, the bun and the special BBQ sauce. Some nice coleslaw and fries. The chili con... More

We decided to try this place after reading the reviews and weren't disappointed. We had read that you need to make a reservation but we just showed up 10 minutes after they opened and we managed to get a table and the place was already half full! The staff didn't speak great English and we were asked around 3 times... More

I went there on a Friday at 2pm and I got a table by pure luck; I was ready to eat at the counter already. They were pushing clients to 4pm! The burger was nice but not extraordinary. The meat had some nerves which I found unusual in a burger. The fries were so-so and the presentation of the dish... More

Excellent juicy burgers, exactly like how it's done in the states. A must-go-to place if you're a burger lover.

Staying in Barrio de Salamanca

Neighborhood Profile
Barrio de Salamanca
Broad, tree-lined avenues with pretty streetlights frame the neighborhood of Barrio Salamanca. With beautiful condominium buildings that make up most blocks in this area, this part of town is refined and quiet. It is also host to a few of the city's large shopping avenues, including Calle Serrano and Calle Jose Ortega y Gasset. A walk down these streets will reveal upscale chains, small boutiques, and plenty of opportunities for shopping or checking out the stylish displays. The locals here are polished and fashionable, the atmosphere is leisurely, and the lush Retiro Park on the southern border is yet another opportunity to enjoy the outdoors. A stroll through Barrio Salamanca is all about admiring the beautiful architecture, window-shopping, and people-watching in this upper-crust corner of Madrid.
