I chose this from the Tripadvisor app on Madrid. Despite it being just one tiny door down a side-alley, it was easy to find with the map. I arrived at 8.30, as it was opening. Just as well, as 15 minutes later, they were turning people away. There are only about 10 tables. The owner explained all the menu and... More

I was recommended by one of my friend who visited earlier and enjoyed the food. So it was an easy picking for my dinner. I went twice because food was really good. Small restaurant, you will never notice the little jam behind the main street. Totally enjoyed the food. I heard the clams are good, but not a fan of... More

We'd heard about this place from different review sites including Yelp. It's a very small place with maybe twenty seats maximum. We got lucky and walked in off the street. We had to wait for a table but thankfully we were just two people and hit it just right. Definitely call ahead and make a reservation if you can. Your... More

We tried this small restaurant based on the Trip Advisor review and saw it was a great option for our party of 6 because we had dietary restrictions including a vegetarian as well as gluten-free. As others have stated, Hugo immediately came to the rescue by describing each dish and identified which dishes were appropriate for our party. We tried... More

The food was good, but not amazing (IMO). Had the pork skewers, rabbits leg, tuna taco, asparagus, goat cheese, gazpacho and potatoes; all of which were good and only the tuna taco (and strawberry infused vanilla ice cream with coke syrup) being great. Perhaps I shouldve tried other dishes but was tough when you're eating/sharing entrees with a vegetarian. Also... More

What a terrific experience! As others said, Hugo is a delight and the food exceeds expectations at a really reasonable price. It was so enjoyable we returned for a second dinner on our last night in Madrid. Best gazpacho ever (I hate cucumbers so it was wonderful to find one without them). Our companions swooned over the mojito sorbet. We... More

If you are looking for a fancy restaurant in central Madrid, this is not the place. If however you want great Spanish food at reasonable prices with friendly, attentive service you need look no further. We ate here our second night in Madrid based on great Trip Advisor reviews and what a find it was! Hands down, the best meal... More

The food here was fantastic! One of the best meals we had our entire trip to Spain! The tuna and lamb skewers were amazing!! Make sure you get the mojito dessert! it was out of this world! Owner is so friendly and really explains everything and makes great recommendations for food and wine! Highly recommend making a reservation since the... More

I really enjoyed the food here. There was lots of choice for vegetarians - I'd recommend the mushroom croquettes, guacamole, goats cheese salad and patas bravas. The non veges really enjoyed all of the above and were also very impressed with the octopus and the tuna. The mojito sorbet was delicious. The staff proudly talk you through the menu and... More

In the heart of Chueca, this lovely, tiny restaurant was an amazing experience. More than tapas, but brighter and lighter than a traditional restaurant, it is authentically Spanish while being adventurous at the same time, and really REALLY good, with a flair that speaks of the El Bulli trained chef. I'd go back in a heartbeat, and if I were... More
