This restaurant is a terrific option for a business dinner in Madrid when you would like a small private room with very traditional Spanish prepared fish. The food has been excellent very time I have had the opportunity to eat here and the service is always fantastic. A couple of drinks at the bar prior to sitting for dinner is... More

Wonderful selection of traditionally cooked spanish fish dishes ... don't go if you don't like fish ... but if you do, then you should not be disappointed

Spain is of cause renowned for the seafood due to the many coastal cities well known by tourists. But to find a good seafood restaurant in the middle of the Spanish High plans (La Meseta) might be somewhat unexpected. La Dorada is a slightly upbeat (and well-known) seafood restaurant in Madrid. I was invited there by a supplier, and basically... More

I has heard a lot about this restaurant. It used to have a very good reputation in the 90s I felt it was very expensive and overrated. The food was good, but I have had just as good food at half the price. The service however was good, as expected in a restaurant of this quality. I would consider other... More

Super fresh food at very afordable price, we had an unforgetable dorada cooked in a brick of salt, friendly service, the downside is the location a bit far from the center but definitively worth the trip (10 euros by taxi)

we went there for dinner with colleagues for dinner and ordered main dishes only (they recommend the dorada cooked under a salt hood - which is really good. the waiter then asked if we wanted to have a "selection of appetizers" before the dinner. we said yes. they brought us 6 different plates of really amazing appetizers. then after the... It is one of the best restaurants out there, not only for their dishes (I recommend the "Dorada a la Sal") but especially for the service (something hard to find it in Spain). The price / food / service relation is very good.
