The terrace was a lovely setting and we enjoyed the fact that the food arrived at a leisurely pace, giving you time to enjoy. The food was generally good, although perhaps not outstanding. We recommend the prawn cervice. Portions were generous, especially the gin, which was excellent!

Four of us had dinner, and a few hours after I ate the cod confit, I developed classic symptoms of food poisoning which totally ruined the next day in Madrid as I was too ill to leave my hotel. Really a shame because we had great service, a lovely ambience and what I thought was excellent food. I did let... More

Since we had a long day of sightseeing, six of us decided to have dinner close to our hotel. For the convenience we paid too much for mediocre food. My husband and I had 2 starters, Iberian ham croquettes and pate, as well as an avocado and shrimp salad. I also tasted a companion's tuna tartar nachos. While everything tasted... More

I took some family members for dinner as I love the fact of eating in a garden and I like the fact that the food is very international. The waiter kept forgetting what we had ordered. The food did not arrive at the same time, so it was cold when I ate it, and the wine was left on the... More

We did not bother to ask a garden table, so lunch was inside. Succulent. Great ceviche, marvelous choquinos (best I've had in a very long time), and wondedful seared tuna. All dishes with some exotic touch, and many dishes can be ordered in half portions which is very convenient. Extremely friendly servive. and reasonable prices, also (and especially) for the... More

This is a terrific restaurant on Calle Velazquez, not far from Hotel Wellington. The menu is contemporary Spanish. There is a limited number of options in each course, but enough to please every diner -- not easy to achieve. I found it reasonably good value for that area of Madrid. Service was good. Nice wine list, including wine by the... More

I liked the secluded garden outside very refreshing and pleasant on a summer night. Service was good, though our waiter did seem awfully quite every time he would serve or bring us something. i I had a salmon tartare as starter and the squid as main dish and both were good. Overall I would say a tad expensive but worth... More

We made a reservation for 8:30 on a Thursday night last October -- were the first ones there when they opened. The main room is long and skinny, but the garden out back is beautiful and peaceful. We ate in the garden and enjoyed it as night fell. (Dining in the garden does come with a 10% surcharge). The four... More

This restaurant is lovely inside but on a warm day you can eat outside in the garden which is pleasant and secluded. The good is good and service excellent, traditional with a twist of modern Food very well presented but also tasty. Not cheap but a nice night or lunch out
