Tip: reserve well in advance. When looking for the restaurant look for the address number at the top of the entrance door (there is no outdoor sign with the restaurante name and it is a residencial building). Outstanding presentation, the chef masters several techniques although the sorbets could be better. The food itself is excellent but not memorable. What was... More

Just back to Madrid to celebrate Christmas, we booked the place three months ago online. And the experience was definitely gorgeous and fabulous. The restaurant is in a representative building in the center of Madrid. The decoration is neoclassical but modest. You can choose between 11,13 or 15 courses with price between 86, 98 or 115€. Way far cheap for... More

El Club Allard is a fine restaurant, but the problem is that you must eat whatever the chef selects for you, which is not necessarily what you would prefer. Dinner starts with a so-called “menu” that is in fact a price list where you can only choose one of three menus, the difference being how many items you will be... More

I had lunch at El Club Allard which can be hard to find even if you have the address right and your GPS set. There are no signs of the exclusive club from the outside and only after asking the portier, I found my way. I had the Seduction menu which was absolutely stunning. I can only recommend everyone with... More

My review can be a bit biased as this was a long waited friends meeting (all of them food gourmet lovers I have to say) and it met the expectations We selected the intermediate menu (three aperitifs, three starters, fish, meat, a pre dessert, two desserts and the coffee and petit fours). The menu is unknown before starting so I... More

I want to qualify this review by telling the reader that this is one of the six restaurants that we ate in during the last week of November 2014. To put this review in context, we were six people who were in Madrid four days re-visiting and trying new restaurants. We ate at Casa Lucio, (twice lunch and a late... More

Gimmicks that added no value to the food - like dry ice under seafood that didnt have anything to do with the dish. Rude service who didn't explain the dishes and were very snippy. All 5 people in our party had stomach issues for the following 2 days. UNebelievable that this place still is ranked highly. Absolutely awful meal and... More

We ate at the club allard on Saturday, 9 November we booked in advance to ensure we got a reservation. Upon entering this opulent venue we were greeted with excellent service and taken to our table. The setting is extremely formal which is to be expected for such an opulent restaurant and the menu we were given was a three... More
