I never thought that we would get into this highly rated Madrid restaurant but the concierge at our hotel performed magic and voila, we had a reservation. Then I started to read some of the reviews posted by people who live in my same geographical area and I got nervous that we were going to spend a lot of money... More

Given the praise this restaurant has received and is continuing to receive, I had a hard time to come up with what I wanted to say in this review. The food definitely deserves more than the 3 point rating I am giving overall, but for the experience I had and considering I have been too forgiving in the overall ratings... More

Top haute cuisine experience in Madrid but knowing what you eat and with really good tasting food (unlike other modern restaurants that are like a theater play...). Definitely worth the visit!

We went for lunch and went for the 12 course menu. The menu is edible. I took photographs of each course, all works of art served by knowledgeable and personable waiters. Our choice of wine was in collaboration with an excellent sommelier. If you are looking for pieces of filling food art, prepared to excellent taste then this is the... More

Where do you start with a restaurant like this! We had the middle menu (splendido) which was 98 euros and 13 courses! As other reviewers have said, you have no choice but to eat what is served, so the dining experience has an air of mystery and fun. The sommelier was excellent and gave us two amazing local white and... More

A marvellous innovative menu, beautifully presented dishes, great service and atmosphere. Will return. Only one small complaint, the young waiter although efficient, spoke too rapidly and not clearly enough when describing each course. It was slightly annoying when he served every dish to have to ask him repeat what he had said.

Tip: reserve well in advance. When looking for the restaurant look for the address number at the top of the entrance door (there is no outdoor sign with the restaurante name and it is a residencial building). Outstanding presentation, the chef masters several techniques although the sorbets could be better. The food itself is excellent but not memorable. What was... More

Just back to Madrid to celebrate Christmas, we booked the place three months ago online. And the experience was definitely gorgeous and fabulous. The restaurant is in a representative building in the center of Madrid. The decoration is neoclassical but modest. You can choose between 11,13 or 15 courses with price between 86, 98 or 115€. Way far cheap for... More

El Club Allard is a fine restaurant, but the problem is that you must eat whatever the chef selects for you, which is not necessarily what you would prefer. Dinner starts with a so-called “menu” that is in fact a price list where you can only choose one of three menus, the difference being how many items you will be... More
