A unique dining experience - not the typical Madrid Cuisine

I love trying Michelin restaurants when traveling since tipping is not required. i feel that I am already saving 20% off my meal (US standards). It was fun night... starting off with an edible menu. In December I have been in Madrid but only now I can write a review. As usual in the start Michelins everything is good but in this s case nothing special but good. The place looks very nice. It is located near Plaza de Espagna. Very good price if you choose the menu. There are many "2 stars M" In short,with... More

A priceless experience if only for the stunning combination of food/color/plating. Totally totally stunning. Best thing I ever ate? No. Worth it? Totally. Superbly presented, perfectly paced (which for 15 courses isn't that easy), glorious unbiased by price wine recommendations, beautiful decor, flawless Service.

Made a lunch reservation and was excited as I walked through the giant iron grille doors. Restaurant is tastefully decorated in a modern way. There are 3 set menus for lunch and I chose the middle one So to get started, they asked me to eat their business card on the table. They said it with a straight and serious... More

2* Michelin restaurant in beautiful building in central Madrid. We ordered the tasting menu which began by literally eating the rice paper menu with delicate mayonnaise! Each course was an experience from an extremely accomplished chef. Beautifully executed and presented. We had wines matched to each course and were not disappointed. Well looked after by knowledgeable waiting staff and enthusiastic... More

Club Allard is an expirience, not a place you go to have something to eat, it is like going to a museum to see an expo here you can taste the piece the artist is creating. Located in a beautiful building where the magic of the past is present in the modern furniture. Flavors, colors, sensations all in one bite

Real good food, service and a place worth to visit. A place to dine before left Madrid. The glamour for a splendid birthday.

From the location, to the place itself, the cutlery, the different pieces of crockery, the services and of course THE FOOD, everything was perfect. I strongly recommend the wine marriage Just go there and enjoy the experience

This is one of those cheeky indulgent meals that you need to treat yourself with once in a while. From the edible menu to what appears to be an egg dessert, and a little clown fish swimming among the coral and seaweed, it truly was a journey for all your senses from start to finish. Service was impeccable which was... More

Pros; an immersive experience, food out of this world - Excellent staff and excellent service Cons; expensive but understandable due to the top notch quality of the food served. Advice; try it once and you won't forget it. Always ask for the revolution menu.

Staying in Arguelles

Neighborhood Profile
Arguelles
Just south of the sprawling campus of the Complutense University of Madrid, Arguelles exudes a fast-paced, collegiate vibe. The main street, Calle Princesa, is filled with twenty-somethings rushing between classes and errands, meeting up with classmates, and grabbing cheap beers and cheap eats. This is a prime shopping spot where the major Spanish clothing and department store chains are less busy than their downtown counterparts, and there is an array of casual dining options to choose from. Check out nearby outdoor spaces such as the lushly planted Plaza de España to the south, which is often filled with craft stalls. To the west of Arguelles is the giant Parque Oueste, a calm and picturesque park with its own Egyptian temple.
