Good All-rounder

We were in a bit group and had eaten several meals in different restaurants during the week all of which surpassed 'excellence'! So we had benchmarks for comparison and the |Herventia came out well although not tops. Good quality food, obviously reliable and attentive and kindly service. A fitting... read more

A fitting 'last supper' for our week-long trip of the amazing Rioja Region.

We came for the roasted lamb for lunch but all are sold out. Thus, we booked a table for dinner & reserved the roasted lamb as well. Really worth the effort as the "wood-fired" roasted lamb is one of the best we had. The portion is really big so 2 of us only ordered a small appetizer to start with.... More

Great place in the city centre. Traditional regional food touched with modern flavors. Service is amazing. Wines are just gorgeous in La Rioja and this restaurant is not an exception. Personel is not only welcoming but also helpful on guiding you through the carte. Location is perfect. Just in front of the cathedral, where you can even see a real... More

We visited this restaurant during our stay, and had the suckling pig, which is a house special. It was very good, and of course washed down with a bottle of Rioja! Good attentive service, nice atmosphere.

In the city center. In a town that praises itself for tradition, this restaurant provides a nice innovative touch to the traditional cusine. I have seen mixed opinions here. I might have chosen the right things here, but we loved the result of it, i am not really skilled on traditional cusine and waiters were always ready to support with... More

Restaurant is on the main pedestrian area in the old town. We had the €30 gourmet menu which comprised of 4 tasting starters, fish course (choice), sorbet, meat course (choice) and sweet (choice). (Unfortunately non wine drinkers but seemed other guests were very happy with theirs) all courses well presented and service very good.

Very good food and service. We were two couple's that ate white asparagus and artichoke as starters. Then the grilled lamb and finished of with an apple dessert. The wine we where recommend was also lovely!

A beautiful setting surpassed by a friendly staff and excellent traditional Spanish cuisine. Rafael, the manager, gave us a warm welcome to this beautiful city. The chef worked in a Michelin-rated restaurant before settling down in Logrono. The octopus was the best I have ever had. We were also introduced to a new fish, Hake, which was exquisite in its... We chose this restaurant on the basis of previous reviews here. However, it did not add up. The bill was too high for what we got. The service was mediocre and not professional, if you are going to charge these prices, back it up with proper qualified personnel. The attitude was a bit off and sometimes they did not pay... More
