Having spent 2 weeks on the Independence of the Sea, it was so good to find an "English Pub" that served good old fashioned wholesome food. The pub was extremely busy, but we did manage to find a table outside and watch the world go by, while sipping a pint of John Smiths. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly... More

If you enjoy frozen food served by very unfriendly staff, eating somewhere with a dirty feel to it, being ripped off when paying the bill due to an exchange rate Dick Turpin would be proud of, then please please please go and eat here as you'll love it. I don't like any of the above, so unfortunately it's not for... More

I visited the Cannon with my husband recently and we were annoyed with ourselves for wasting our time and money here. It was not very clean and the staff were rude. I certainly would not recommend it at all.

This pub was very busy but I managed to take a seat at a shared outside table. Lovely pint of John Smiths (nice change from Spanish beer I'm used to). Asked if they served sandwiches and was offered ham or cheese. Ham and cheese? I asked. Certainly no problem! Well the crusty baguette had huge chunks of "real" roast ham... More

After nearly 2 weeks of cruising it was great to get a decent pint. Staff really friendly & helpful. I can't understand the negative comments.

After visiting the penon of Gibraltar, we can have a good beer and glass of red wine here. Fish and chips just like in Great-Britain. Not exceptional but so British!

The only reason we chose this bar was because it was in the sun when all the other bars/restaurants on the High Street were in the shade! Average place to eat food OK, staff OK, not much more to say really.

Fantastic old British pub with excellent bar staff! Keri and Stacy are brilliant entertainment and really know their wines! I have read previous reviews and can only assume that these two ladies weren't working when others have visited. They made our stay in Gibraltar a wonderful experience. We WILL be back......hope they are still there. See you in February!

Four of us had lunch here on New Year's day mainly because there were very few places open. Wish we had driven back to Malaga instead. We all sat outside and ordered fish & chips. It was one of the worst lunches we've all had. There was even a strong smell of greasy oil coming from the bar. Not a... More
