Bar serving good quality and very reasonably priced pub grub. Choose two main courses from the £7.95 menu and get both for £11.95. Great value. Also great atmosphere and attentive service. What more can you ask for?

A few years ago it looked dated and rather jaded...but recent refurbishments and decorating..especially the toilets has given the pub a much smarter ambience.the food and beer and the value for money remain as good as ever... Mrs had ribs I had steak... More

Had a day visit to Gib on Friday 21st and was guided to the Clipper by a local postman when I asked him for a good place to eat. We were not disappointed - the food was very good and the service great especially Amanda our waitress. There was lots of pre-booked tables and people were queueing up at the... More

As soon as you enter the pub you can see that the place has gone through a refurbishment to make it more up market. However, it has lost some of the earlier charm, but still serves the some menu ..good food great value and generous portions.
