Good value for money

We ate here late afternoon and managed to find a table outside which was lovely as the weather was glorious. It was lovely coming from Spain to Gibralter to have the choice of some English delights, and to mention the cider, very refreshing!!!. I had the seafood salad which was huge. My husband... read more

Nothing to dislike just try it. We went every day for lunch or dinner. Plenty of choice and extremely friendly staff. Apple pie was fabulous

I don't recommend this place. I don't understand why it is high rated honestly. The burger was just an industrial piece of beef with cheese, no tomato or anything else. The chips are frozen. The worst thing is that I found a hair in my plate, see picture.

The place does home cooked pub food, its not flashy but the portions are very generous, and its very good value for money. The atmosphere is buzzing as its constantly busy do to the great value for money. It wont change your life but its solid enough for lunch. The service is friendly but it can be slow as the... More

What a gem of a place, lovely staff who are happy and helpful, clean, tidy and a nice atmosphere to while away an hour or so whilst enjoying well cooked food, the vegetables are freshly cooked and crunchy. Whilst the Clipper advertises itself as selling 'Pub Grub' it is more than that when you look at the specials menu. That... More

I've eaten here a few times and some of the items were lovely, however some taste like they were cooked earlier that morning (or the day before) and then reheated for service. They have decent wifi for free though so handy if you want to check your emails while you're away!

The waiter seemed a nice chap and seated us, taking our drinks order.... Then it went wrong. We ordered our starter and main course, nothing fancy, prawn cocktails to start with some spicy chicken wings, followed by fish and chips and a baked potatoe for my wife... Easy. The waiter then returned saying we would have to have starters and... More

This was exactly the kind of place that I was hoping to dine in during my trip to Gibraltar! Fish & Chips and a couple pints of bitter with nice friendly waitresses and a cool nautical theme. It was really wonderful!

Just amazing to have to wait 2 hours to have a fish and chips! And by the way extremely greasy. The fish and chips shouldn't be served with a bath of oil. Is that normal? I don't think so Very disappointing
