Sumptuous Spanish Sushi

The food was good. My wife who isn't a sushi fan loved the think slices of tuna. We went as a family because it had a buzz, and was a little different. It attracts a young sophisticated crowd - yet was very welcoming to all. It is not large and I couldn't book (unless we had 8 people), We waited a... read more

There should be an option of a sixth star or something equivalent for exceptional cases like Casa Marcelo! Before entering I was thinking that I am not going to like this place at all, because of the way it looks from outside. With the first step inside my opinion changed instantly – the place just looked great. Everything we tried... More

I loved this restaurant. The place looks like a house kitchen. With big table, next to the cooking station. People are sharing the table, which it made me like home. Food is excellent. It is asiatic spanish fusion of tastes and elements. I loved the duck baozi and the minestra, which is truly a great salad. Defenitly a place where... More

We came around the opening time for dinner and could choose almost any seats we wanted (chose seats at the bar overlooking the kitchen and never regretted it) but the place filled up pretty fast. The chef asked us a few questions and proposed a menu suited to our tastes (most dishes are designed to be shared by two people)... More

What an experience; we were offered the menu decided by the head chef and plate after plate arrived - one more fantastuc than the other. This is highly skilled and executed cooking and we were able to appreciate the choreography and focus of the kitchen with our arena seats. Unforgettable dishes were a type of fried potato filled with egg... More

I wouldn't have expected a Japanese/Galician fusion place to offer tiramisu (it does an interesting looking take on lemon meringue pie too, though that wasn't sampled) but it does and it was a gorgeous end to a pretty marvellous meal. It's tucked down a street just off the main square, easily missed (well we marched past it) as there are... More

This is as good as it gets when trying to mix local products with innovation. While it looks like a tapas place, the delivery and food quality reflect a serious approach to cooking. An outstanding experience for sure. Don't leave without trying the fried cabracho.

Look carefully as you might miss this place while you pass it. At the moment you enter you know you are at the right place. Sitting at the big table together with the customers looking at the kitchen you will enjoy the food. The Japanese style tapas are delicious, for sure order the grilled fish. The way they present it... More

My food experience of the year. We dined at the bar and Martin chose our menu. The decision was my best yet. We had a wonderful salad of boiled free range egg in the centre of a beautiful salad of seaweed and leaves drizzled with satay sauce. The raw fish was superb, sliced scallops round a scallop shell of vegetable... More

Found it on Trip Advisor and walked in around ten and expected to not have a place. They sat us at the bar by the door but we were more than happy. The food was so good it didn't matter. We ordered the dim sum, duck, chorizo dumplings, scallops, and the toro tuna on rice. Every dish just got better... More
