If you are looking for a fun evening of Tapas with friends, delicious wine, and fantastic service... This is the place to go. Over two visits, we almost covered their ever changing menu. Each plate just as delicious as the last. Great atmosphere in which you have an open view of the kitchen. Exciting to watch as you enjoy your... More

This is not a classic tapas bar with traditional finger food. In Casa Marcelo you will be surprised by an inventive and surprising cuisine and large wine choice. Very gentle service in English and French. A place you must have visited when you are in Santiago.

I came here last night with my husband, wigwam3. We decided that this deserved a second visit on our last night in Santiago de Compostela. The dishes we selected were even better than last night. We were remembered from last night and greeted as friends. We started with a new dish that the chef was testing of salted tuna on... More

Two of us dined here on a Friday night. We had checked out the restaurant at around 4pm but it was closed with no signs of opening hours. We walked by again at around 8:15pm and it was still closed and dark through the windows. At 8.45 there was a light on inside and at 9pm the door was open.... More

I had lunch here after reading the sushi was good, and boy was I in for a surprise. You can seat either at the tables, or at the bar, Japanese sushi bar style, where you can see everything being cooked in front of you, and the cook serves you directly. I just told the cook I wanted a variety of... More

This was by far the most delicious, wonderful, creative, true food we have eaten in Spain over the past three weeks. Only come for dinner and walk around and LOOK at what the other gourmets are eating and jump in!!!! This is truly the most delicious and fun evening we have ever experienced. If you want fresh fish--- this is... More

When you read some negative reviews you tend to be more aware to find out where the trick lays. But not, it was a wonderful experience totally recommendable. It is true that we (4) were sitted in a long table next to people we didn't know, but we ended up chatting with them about how great the food was, no... More

Met expectations. We head read in advance so we were prepared for the smaller portions and prices. But we loved the big table,a great way to get know the locals and the food was fantastic. I particularly the crab in the seaweed wrap, it is a must try. The interpretation of Asian Fusion and Traditional Spanish was very interesting and... More

Marcelo is a surprising place. One does not travel to Galicia to eat japanese food. But go to Marcelo. In my opinion a pesfect example of modern fusion. It's well provided menu has japanese dishes, typical Galician food and everything in between. From fabes con almejas and zamburiñas to tuna tataki. I enjoyed ribs, Sichuan chicken, zamburiñas, fabes con almejas,... More
