Went back twice for dinner on a two-night stay for the "salteado de pulpo con langostino". The other dishes we tried were also very very good. Dinner is late but if you get there too late they'll be full up. Make a reservation. It's worth it.

I recommend this place if you are looking for a good food and good price. The restaurante is not very big, but it's confortable and friendly. You should try the mushrooms in small pan, sea food, and desserts. Good quality and good food, enough to share with 2 or 3 people. Don't forget wines they have a lot of brands... More

Eat on the small outside terrace, or inside downstairs or in the restaurant upstairs. Beware, portions are large, so take advice before over-ordering. Huge choice of cured meats and pâtés. There is little elbow room, so the eating experience will be intimate.

The place was packed around 10 PM for dinner and people continued to wait for tables. The service was excellent and the food was really good. The raciones are quite large and are best shared with a couple of people.

I've eaten here now numerous times, including lunches and just a glass of wine w/tapas. These folks are not cheap on their tapas and wine. I was able to learn a lot about Galician cheeses here. They are generous with their jamón and salcihón. My lunch (ensalada con pollo y mango) was incredible. Wines are of good quality.

We liked everything we ate over two consecutive nights. But, if I had to single out one - lobsters with papatas. We ate like crazy, had a glass or two of wine and the bill never topped the low 30 euros.

Tixolas of octopus and prawns for 14 euros, other kind of tixolas (pans) with several types of mushrooms also nice, polvo a feira, good offer of tapas and good selection of wines at reasonable prices. The place is out of the tourist circuit which has its advantages. Recommended to those that want to taste local food surrounded by local people.... More

Santiago is packed full of bars, restaurants and places to eat - if you walk down Rua Franco on Saturday night, it's absolutely packed with people filling their bellies. If you want the big crowd experience, you know where to go. Alternatively, if you want a neighbourhood restaurant, Bodeguilla San Roque is a nice place to go. The downstairs really... More

Woooo... that wine menu. That tapas list. Those magnificent pulpos. That cheese... Just to make it short: It does not look very special from the outside and it is simply furnished, but the selection of food and fish is nothing short than awesome.
