Excellent restaurant, local cuisine with a modern touch. Was surprisingly empty on a rainy night. Waitress knew little English and we knew little Spanish, but we managed...

Modern restaurant set just outside Historic Santiago, perfect for special celebration or dinner out. Chef Pedro was convivial and his staff was extremely thoughtful and kind in preparing an unforgettable meal for two Americans who had minimal Spanish capabilities! All we tasted was delicious, savory and beautifully presented...a true pleasure and delight. We dined at 9 - so we were... More

During my visit to Santiago i was recommended to try Pedro Roca. I found it to be a wonderful experience, the atmosphere was friendly and welcoming , the service was very good with staff very attentive to my every need. The food was marvelous and i thoroughly enjoyed my meal, it is clear that the finest and freshest local ingredients... More

When I first passed this restaurant I got the impression that this was one of these places you needed to book a table at months in advance. It looked so stylish and sleek. But no, for some obscure reason (location ?) it never seems very crowded (when I was there, on a Saturday evening, thee were 2 other tables with... More

Menu Plaza de Abastos 55 euros. Mercado Abastos is Santiago´s impressive market. If you like to eat a lot, this menu is an unbeatable offer! Tasting menu with 8 dishes, all portions fairly big. Well, the excellent chef could minimize a few of the dishes, and you will still leave the restaurant filled up! Never the less; I will recommend... More

Excellent meal. Sound confident cooking well executed. But we were the only diners. The restaurant's in the wrong place unfortunately. Great squid in its own ink to start followed by monk fish (in a slightly too richly buttery sauce which overpowered the potato and spinach). Rich creamy deserts went down well but probably contained a week's worth of calories. Friendly... More

This was another great meal in Santiago del Compestela which we enjoyed in the middle of May. We chose the menu Plaza de Abastos which uses fresh ingredients from the amazing market of the same name .We were not disappointed. We sat opposite the kitchen and enjoyed looking at Pedro Roca cook with his staff. All was very calm and... More

We went here for lunch in the middle of the week. It's off the beaten path, but well worth finding if you want to try innovative twists to the typical Galician dishes. We had the most amazing waitress. She was super friendly and took time to explain everything on the menu and even recommend dishes we could share and a... More

This dmall restaurant has excellent food and the most friendly bilingual wait staff. We watched Sr. Roca prepare our food. Varied menu and good wine list. You can make a reservation online. Dinner starts at 21:00.

After finishing over 300km on camino in rural areas and poor conditions we aimed to have some good food. This restaurant was absolutely worth it. Nice place, the waitress was suprisingly outcoming and helpful even with her limited English (our Spanish was poor, poor, poor...). The place was quiet. The food was great, the restaurant is on the 2013 Michelin... More
