Good selection of options to satisfy most tastes. This is not a Michelin quality restaurant but neither is the price. Staff are fantastic. Good atmosphere. Terrace.

I am joining many times my husband and his friends on their (every) thursday dinner in this place. They have fantastic spanish wines and for me the best tuna and hamburgers in Santiago.

I went here recently and it was wonderful, the food was great and 1906 Estrella Beer on tap is a fantastic find. We had the Carpaccio to start which was wonderful and well seasoned followed by the Tiras De Buey, rare of course or poco hecho en español, which again was well seasoned and accompanied by a very good mediteranean... i went here because of the good ratings and got totally disappointed. if this is the best restaurant then i don't want to to try any other one here. i had the english burger and the only thing i could taste was mustard. why do you put mustard in a burger? a good burger should have a good meat taste... I lived in Santiago last year with two English girls and we ate here virtually every week, it was the best restaurant in Santiago de Compostela. We particularly enjoyed the cocktails, which became a weekend occurrence. The food is also amazing, and the staff are all lovely. Will miss La Cavita!

Great wine, amazing tapas with gourmet interpretations of local, regional and international favorites, excellent service (really top notch service). The best gin and tonic (subtle pomegranate and grapefruit flavors) I have ever had. Innovative and enjoyable interior design and architecture that really adds to your evening. And do not miss the passion fruit sorbet with chocolate brownie (might sound like... More

It's located in a centric place. The food is modern style, of good quality and reasonable prices. We repeated several times.

We decided on La Cavita after trawling through the list of restaurants in Santiago on TripAdvisor. It seemed that it would be nice, modern tapas at prices which weren't as high as some of the 'top' places in the town. And that was exactly what we got. We ordered the Red Tuna Tartare (€3), the trio of croquettes (jamon, ham... More

Tuna Tartare was the star dish, but the others were also good. We had food envy over the crumbed chicken - wished we'd ordered it! Lovely red wine suggestion, and good value.

This restaurant was highly reccommended by our hotel and actually it was a fair suggestion: the food was one of the best we have eaten in 45 days travelling around Spain. We also found friendly staff and cozy environment - perfect combination for a great night!
