Brunch with a modern twist

Bicoca has a lovely atmosphere, chill-out music and quite delicious food. We came for Sunday brunch and stayed for a while because of rain. Salad with avocado and shrimps was my favourite. Pancakes were nothing special, though. A nice place for watching peregrinos pass by.

We enjoyed a late (they waited for us to close) tapas meal at Bicoca and felt so welcomed. As we were quite a large roup, the waiters advised us wery honestly about portions. The quality of food was a step above all others places that we went in the city earlier. They deserve a star !

I stopped by for a caña, and discovered this restaurant. Came back today for a real meal, a very ample salad w/langostinos, beets, apples, lettuce, etc. And there was no extra charge for the two slices of whole-grain bread (which can add a Euro to your tab). They have a menú del día every day, which looks great but is... More

We had our last meal in Santiago here and it was really lovely - delicious grilled pork (raxo) over crispy chips and Galician cheeses with soft flavours. And the portions were huge! They could have been half the size and been enough, so very good value for money. The wines were also good and as the place was full of... More

Amazing. I visited Santiago for 3 days with my friends during a study abroad trip. We found Bicoca on our first day and went back for lunch the next two days! After eating so much fried, greasy Spanish tapas, Bicoca provided us with some much needed FRESH food for a very reasonable price. Over the course of our three lunches... More

Excelent place to have a Tapas dinner in Santiago de Compostela, all the food was homely and carefully prepared although the choice was limited due to "technical limitations" according to the staff. Despite the technical difficulties, everything tasted great and the quality was above par considering the fantastic price. The location is also very interesting near the historical center of... I arrived late for lunch and was warmly welcomed anyway. Had the menu del dia and it was delicious. The server was lovely. Great for sitting outside and people watching. Highly recommend!

Spent a rainy afternoon relaxing in Bicoca, luckily we were killing time, as the service was incredibly slow (even by Spanish standards!), however to be fair, the restaurant was almost full and there was only one member of staff serving. We ordered two brunches - which included two nice large cocktails. I had a langoustine salad - unfortunately the leaves... More

We visited this restaurant last year on our visit to Santiago and the food was terrific. This year it seems like there's new owners. The food is almost as good and the service is improving every day. Our views of this small but delicious restaurant remain positive.

I recently spent 2 nights in Santiago de Compostela and visited this restaurant after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced, but the star of both meals was our Venezuelan waitress. Cannot praise her enough; very friendly and helpful with excellent English. Would definitely recommend a visit to this fabulous restaurant.
