Fresh, tasty tapas

I wasn't mad keen on the look of the place ( I thought too touristy) one tapa of solomillo later and I wAs persuaded otherwise. Friendly staff, loads of buzz around the place, good value wine, great fun sitting up at the bar.

We have been here twice over our short stay in Santiago as food and service were excellent. Tapas are v good, well presented and fresh. Good value for money

Great food but some dodgy dealings. Check your bill and your change carefully. Perhaps they thought after a bottle of wine we wouldn't notice being short changed but when pointed out the guy on till handed the balance to waiter without a word being exchanged! Our antennae were on red alert.

Service was excellent. We were invited to make our choice from a really excellent and spotlessly clean selection of dozens of tapas. Waiter spoke some English. Local wine was most enjoyable and to be honest neither of us had any negative comments. finally we thought the cost was reasonable too

We walked up the street looking for tapas, what made us stop at this taberna was their window that revealed their tapas selection. The bar area was crowded with lots of young people, we took a table in the back, the waiters were friendly, helpful and very efficient. The tapas is delicious, make sure you try the creme brûlée for... More

After two days searching in Santiago for decent Tapas, this restaurant / Tapas Bar really is the best there is in Santiago. From the street one can look in through open timber shutters on the Bar window to see a fabulous display of colourful food in the counter. My friends & I were won 'hook line & sinker' Needless to... This tapas bar/restaurant was recommended to us by a local friend and it was a wonderful suggestion - he certainly knows his local gastronomy! It has none of the photos of the food, long lists of cheap food or men trying to tempt you in, like many of the restaurants in this street which are to be avoided. There was... More

We ate a few selection of tapas. Good variety in the menu we had the brie Crocanti which was really tasty. Las navajas para chuparte los deos. el montadito de solomillo and anotherone which had some cheese and some confitura on top were excellent. You could taste the quality. The service was absolutely great. The waiter who served us throughout... More

The counter top tapas displays are wonderful. If you're uncertain about ordering this is perfect place to eat tapas. They taste as good as they look and reasonably priced too. Nothing to dislike and lots to commend this place.

This place was a real find! The food was extremely fresh and the seafood was amazing. Try the half tapas portions as there is quite a variety to taste. Skip the tourist stops and head to this location. Our waiter was originally from Brasil and was amazing. We went back and forth in Spanish, Portuguese and English. I wish I... More
