Tapas

Tapas restaurant with very pleasant people. We didn't pay much, food was good and very tasty with very interesting combinations. A secure place to eat since is open for a long time with same (good) quality.

My wife and I went to this restaurant and ordered the pulpo, croquetas, and bacalao. We had one beer and two glasses of white wine. Our bill was 26 euros. The food was very good and tasty. Service was very friendly.

This is a place worth visiting. Great atmosphere, good service and tapas that you cannot forget. I had cockles that were so fresh, they tasted of the sea, and a rice and shrimp salad with pineapple bits added to it. My husband had the cod with honey, which I also tasted - quite out of this world!! The grand finale... More

After a long run on Camino sustained by memories of Tapas in Pamplona and Burgos it was a relief to hit great tapas again. (Oh and see cathedral) it made all the hallucinations along the way seem real. Had the Cod with Honey recommended by waiter. Awesome. Well worth dropping in.

The only problem with the Taverna do Bispo is getting a place at the Tapas Bar or a seat at a table! It's a very popular place which says more than any review can. We ate here a few times during our stay in Santiago de Compostela and the food was fabulous each time. Our particular favourites was the Pimientos... More

The two meals we had here were superb! The two meals had all different types of seafood none repeated over the nights except the cod with honey. Shellfish were so fresh they did not require anything to enhance the flavour.

Our dinner was very delicious. We had Navajas (razor clams), bacalao (cod) with honey, langoustinos al ajillo, pimientos de padron, and solomillo on toast. The razor clams and bacalao were so good that we ordered seconds of both. My friend decided that it was the best meal of the trip. Service was friendly and prompt. They do not accept reservations,... I have walked past this place so many times over the last few years during my trips to Santiago and haven´t been able to get in the door as this place is always busy but this time I waited patiently and wasn´t disappointed. It was definitely worth the wait. There are an array of tapas on the bar top and... More

This place was bustling and we waited for a table. The waiter was so helpful and fun, he gave us great advice about what to order. All the seafood was excellent. The sauteed artichoke our favorite. I like hot tapas and the selections were ample and diverse. The wine was Delicious and the value very good .
