Great tapas..at a price

We arrived in Santiago late and went out for dinner immediately, choosing this restaurant as the tapas looked fab. And indeed they were! We asked our waitor to choose for us and we enjoyed navajas (the best!!), scallops and prawns, prawn and cuttlefish kebab, pulpo a la gallega...really wonderful... read more

We asked our waitor to choose for us and we enjoyed navajas (the best!!), scallops and prawns, prawn and cuttlefish kebab, pulpo a la gallega...really wonderful, washed down with some excellent local white wine and beer. Our experience at this restaurant was a very late night during a relatively non-busy week, so perhaps the attention we got was not typical. We had an excellent waiter who was super-attentive and tried to guide our choices. At first we started with picking the standard tapas-fare that we are accustomed to - and those choices were fine, nothing exciting....... More

Found this place quite by accident and had a great meal there. The staff all speak English and were very friendly and helpful with the selection of tapas. The seafood tapas were particularly tasty and fresh. The variety and quality of the tapas is great and I will go back there again. Well located near the cathedral.

I went in because the tapas looked so enticing and thought about ordering several, Luckily I just ordered one to start with and a small beer. That came to nearly six euros so I decided not to try any others. Three small prawns and a beer and I dont think it was good value

A place for tapas in the old city, a few meters from the cathedral. Around you can find dozens of Restaurants but this is worth the visit. Great food with large choice of Tapas. The dessert that was a cheese cake with a kind of “crème Brulee” on the top was delicious. If it is rush time than you have... More

This restaurant is located in one of the main streets of Santiago de Compostela. They have a good and large selection of tapas and wines. Our waiter was a nice brasilian guy, very funny, and we offered to choose a large selection of tapas for us. It was the best! Variety, different flavours, and seafood. Could ask for more. The... Ready for some tapas and being our last night, we were lured with the spread of ready tapas through the street window. We were on the early side for Spain (6 :15) and, with the rain having begun, we were ready to find our place for the night. We started with a glass of red wine (Via Imperial), and then... More

I really wanted to give this place a higher rating because the food is really good, the location is ideal and the restaurant itself is nice. However, I can not give more than 3 because the staff were so rude. Really childish stuff like rolling eyes and making faces about our group even though we were being perfectly polite. Please... Great recommendations from staff, super friendly and fast service. The tapas were all fresh and delicious. Recommend bacalao with honey sauce and crab salad on toasted bread!
